Ava Halstead just came back from 2 years as a Marine and is going to firehouse 51 on squad 3 but isn't on the best terms with her brothers because of them not wanting her to be a Marine but she didn't care, she's a lot more like her twin brother Jay...
" hey, 51s here"jay says making you nod and walk out to see gallo, severide and chief
You walk up hugging gallo " hey, what the hell happened" he asks kissing your head " thought I had a stolen car" you say looking up " don't you have all the paperwork for it" he asks and you nod again " he was a bit of an ass" you say " and your face" chief asks noticing the swollen and black eye that was forming on your eye " it's not important, and sorry he took my phone couldn't answer it" you say with a small smile
" so what happens now" severide asks " they're just checking the papers then I'll we can leave" you say making them " thanks guys for coming but it's nothing serious just a misunderstanding. Head back to the firehouse" you say " ok call us if you guys need anything at all". Chief says " will do, we'll see you guys in a bit" gallo answers as they walk back to severides car
You walk in with gallos hand around your shoulders
You had your head on his shoulder as Trudy and jay walks over " you're paper works good, you can leave and sorry for this whole thing, we will have officer, joe checked and talked to" Trudy says as you guys stand up " hey I'll see you" jay says bringing you to a side hug before you and gallo walk out
An officer had gotten your car back so you guys get in side and go to the firehouse
You walk in and a few people gives you weird looks and as you were walking past the squad table they all laugh " it's not funny, my eye actually hurts" you smile at them " chief wants to see you in his office" severide says making you nod and walk to his office
" hey chief" you say " hello how was it" he asks making you sit down " all cleared" you smile " well Halstead you can take the day off, you've missed almost half the day just go home and to sleep or something" he says and you slightly nod then get up again
" thank you chief" you say walking out and in to the kitchen to gallo " I'll see you later, I'll make dinner" you smile before kissing him " see you in a bit" he says kissing your cheek then you walk out to your car before going home
You get home and change in to shorts and one of gallos hoodie before going downstairs and making yourself a coffee before laying on the couch and playing a movie
You get woken by the door opening
" hey" gallo yells from the door " hi" you mumble as gallo walks in the sitting room with a smile
He trows his bag on the floor before coming over a kissing you and you smile before looking up " oh shit, I forgot dinner" you say immediately sorry " you ok, have you eaten anything" he says concerned and you just shake your head
" I'll order food" he says pulling out his phone " Italian or Chinese" he asks and you think for a second " Italian" you smile and he nods " your usual" he asks and you nod " k, ima get changed, I'll be down in a minute" he says kissing your cheek before walking out
He runs down soon after coming next to you again
" how was shift" you asks cuddling up to his side "ok, missed you" he smiles kissing your head " wanna go to Mollys after we have dinner" he says making you nod
Soon the food comes and you gays eat it quick and u go upstairs to change to go to Mollys

You put your hair in to a quick bun before running down stairs to gallo
" let's go" you say grabbing the keys and walking out with him fallowing
You guys walk in and separate
You going to severide and Cruz and him going to Ritter
" hey guys, how was shift" you ask sitting next to sev, " not to bad, few calls nothing serious" Cruz answered making you nod " miss me" you smile " yeah so much" sev says sarcastic you getting up making you guys laugh " want a drink" he asks turn to you guys " " yeah a beer" Cruz says then sev turns to you " nah I'll get gallo to get one in a bit" you smile making him nod
" where's Chloe" you ask Cruz " at home" he answers taking the last sip from his beer " she should come out sometime, we should have a girls night" you say to yourself and he just mumbles something " oh and if you guys ever need a babysitter, im always free" you say and he nods " thanks av," he smiles and severide Comes back
" is stel here" you ask and he nods " yeah, working"he answers making you nod and get up
You sit beside gallo as Stella comes over " hey, what can I get you" she says and you take a second to think " Margarita please" you smile and she nods making it up
" hey Ritter, "you turn to him " hey" you say back as Stella slides you your drink and you thank her as gallo hands her the money " thanks" you smile at him and he just gives you a small kiss going back to what ever him and Ritter was talking about
" hey Halstead" Carver says sitting next to you " Carver" you greet turning to him, he gets a drink before turning to you
" so what's your story" he asks taking a sip of his drink " what do you mean" you ask " I know I've been at 51 for a few weeks but your still kinda a mystery" he says and you slightly nod " what you wanna know" you ask and he thinks " everything" he says and you nod again
" gallo and I've been dating for almost two years, engaged for 8 months, I've got two brothers. Ones a detective, ones a doctor" you say and he nods making you know he's listening " both parents passed away, was in the army for a little over 2 years. I've got Lieutenant papers but never worked as one, I've done a lot of ofi work and I've been working in squad for a little over 2 year" you say and he nods " and that's me" you finish " what about you" you say taking the last sip of your drink
" not much to tell" he say then turns to Stella " get her another drink on me" he says leaving money before walking out
You get your second drink and spend a little time with gallo beg the both of you go back home
You walk in and up the stairs as gallo locks up
You change in to one of gallo hoodies, shorts and put your hair in to a bun " hey" you say getting in bed cuddling in to his side
" what's wrong" you say after he doesn't say anything and you sit up " do you wanna start playing the wedding" he says and your eyes slightly widen " really" you ask and he nods " you know I love you and you love me so why wait" he says making you smile " yeah let's do" you smile and kiss him
