Ava Halstead just came back from 2 years as a Marine and is going to firehouse 51 on squad 3 but isn't on the best terms with her brothers because of them not wanting her to be a Marine but she didn't care, she's a lot more like her twin brother Jay...
As he gets down on one knee you immediately step back and put you hands up to your mouth
" Ava Halstead.... Will you marry me" he says and you slightly laugh with tears in your eyes then nod " yeah..... yeah of course " you say still nodding and he gets up giving you a hug as you slightly cry then you pull away and give him a kiss before smiling
" I love you" you say looking up at him and you wipe you eyes " I love you too" he says and hugs you again tightly then you realise three people where watching you guys at the top of the beach
" ok don't freak out but there's people watching us" you say seriously pulling away from him " no no it's ok" he says and you look at him confused " it's just jay and Will oh and Ritter for emotional support" he says and you smile again " will we go up" you say and he nods " just one more thing" he says and takes out the small box with the ring in it
He opens it again with the ring because he didn't give it to you
" here" he says putting the Beautiful ring on your finger

" oh my god" you say just looking at it " it's nice isn't it" he smiles at you nod
You both walk up to jay and Will and you hug them first
" hey guys" you say with a big smile on your face then go to ritter who you hug
"Hey" you smile then all of you just stand there as you wipe a few tears away
" so will we all go to Mollys" gallo says and puts his hand around you " yeah we can meet you guys there" jay says and you nod " yeah I'll see you there" you say and hug him again then jay and Will leave
" oh my god i can't believe you just did that" you say and he hugs you again " hey congratulations guys" Ritter smiles " thank you" you smile " well I'll see you guys there" Ritter says and the both of you nod and he leaves soon after
" hey did you tell anyone else" you say and he shakes his head " no just then" he says and you nod " how about we don't tell them int till tomorrow at shift" you say and he nods " yeah we'll tell them all tomorrow" he says then the both of you to go to Mollys
" hey guys" you walk in to see Ritter, jay and Will sat at the same table with drinks " hey" jay says " we are not telling anyone yet"you say and they all nod " we got you guys a drink to celebrate" will say's nodding to two drinks left on the table " thanks" gallo says picking his up
You guys stay there for maybe an hour and a half just talking then you and gallo go back to your house and just go to sleep
You wake up the next morning and right away just look at the gorgeous ring that was now on your finger
" you like it" you Blake slightly moves next to you " yeah it's pretty" you smile and he kisses you. Lightly before turning over " what time is it" he asks and you slightly laugh as he hides his face from the light that was coming in your room
" it's 7 30" you giggle " we have to get up for shift" you say and he slightly nods but turns To you a slightly hugs you " can't we just stay here" he asks and you laugh and slightly hit his shoulder so he would let you get up and he does so you jump out of bed
" how do you have so much energy" he asks and you show him your hand " because I just got engaged" you smile shaking your hand and he smiles " ok I'm going to go get dressed, you get up" you say and trow one of your pillows at him " ok ok I'm up" you hear him mumble as you walk in to the bathroom and get ready for the day
You walk in to the bedroom to see him dressed and ready for shift " ready to go" you say putting your hair up in to a messy bun
" yeah let's go" he says kissing you before running downstairs and you slightly laugh
You walk down after cleaning your room a bit " k come on" you say after grabbing your keys and he gets your bag before the both of you go out the door then to your car
You guys get to the firehouse and you both walk in together and put your things in to the lockers
" hey I'm just going to do my hair then I'll see you in the kitchen" you say sitting down on the bench and he nods kissing you then walking out and you put your hair in to two braids
You take your ring off before going to the kitchen not wanting it to get dirty in the day
You walk in to the kitchen to see everyone eating breakfast so you go over to gallo " sorry had to take the ring off, didn't want my engagement ring getting dirty or anything" you say and kiss his cheek before walking to get yourself some food that was made earlier
" I'm sorry what" Cruz was the first to speak up and you and gallo both just laugh as everyone else realises what you said
" oh my god,congratulations" Stella says standing up and hugging you as you slightly smile and almost everyone else comes up to you and go to gallo
" congratulations" severide says giving you a quick hug " thanks severide" you smile and he was the last person so you go and get some food
You get your breakfast and sit next to gallo " so when did this happen" Capp says nodding to you guys " last night at a beach" you say and they nod " I was there, it was a really pretty night" Ritter says and you guys nod agreeing with him
Most people finish they breakfast and they go they're separate way and you go out to the squad table and sit on your phone as you get congregations texts from a few people from Chicago med probably hearing it from Will and a few people who heard it from jay
