Previously:
I waited for him to go downstairs and greet my soon-to-be mother and sister. After I heard them talk for a while, I decided to go downstairs already. I could hear their voices becoming louder and louder as I approach them. I can’t see their faces but the girl’s voice is very familiar. In fact, even though I can’t see her face I feel like I know her.
“I am glad you and Stella were able to come today.” Dad said to the girl.
“Oh look here’s my son, Josh.” He said.
Both Stella and her daughter turned to face me and I think I had the biggest shock of my life.
“NO WAY!!!” I shouted.
Chapter11- Small Word?
*Josh’s POV*
I can’t believe this! This is not happening. Of all the people in this world, it can’t be her. I mean, this
is a joke right? Yeah, this must be a joke! I she couldn’t be my future stepsister. It would ruin
everything. No, no, no…
I don’t believe in small worlds! I must be dreaming. Ha-ha… When I pinch myself, I will wake up.
Ahh!!! It hurts! Shoot! This is reality. Why? Why her? This is punishment for me.
“That is not the way you greet your future stepsister Josh.” She told me calmly.
How could she be calm in this situation?! Is this some kind of joke to her? She disappeared three
days ago after we’ve met in the coffee shop and now she showed up as my future stepsister?

Did she know about this? Did she found out that we will be siblings in the future? If yes, why the
heck did she didn’t tell me? This is absurd!
“Yes, son. Greet her properly this is not how you greet you future sister.” He said.
I know that I had promised to be kind to them but this is certainly a different case! I didn’t expect my
sister to be her! No way, I was planning to marry her before and now she’s my stepsister?
The thought that we’ve kissed makes me feel awkward if our parents will get married one month
from now. I can’t live in the same house with her! That would be very awkward and I don’t want to
live with her as her stepbrother.
