2am and 8am

One moment
You want to cry
And it's taking everything
In you
Not to stare at him
And call his name out
In the crowd

And the next
You're on your couch
With your closest friend
Cuddling close
And hiding in each other's shoulders
While watching Wednesday Addams
Because that fringe is too bad
And the fear is too real
And it's 2am
And you both have finals at 8am

Some moments,
You're surviving;
And equally,
Some moments,
You're living
