Face Grab
Aside from those two incidents that occurred once, there was a form of punishment my mother would turn to repeatedly throughout my childhood, and that was a face grab.
My mother would put me and likely my siblings when they were younger and defenseless through was where she would grab you by the chin and squeeze your face/cheeks in forcing your lips out via a vice-like grip. Once she gained control over your entire head she would force you to look up at her as she gave her desired command of action. She would squeeze so hard that my face would cave in and she would put pressure on my teeth.
The first recollection I have of this form of punishment was when I was around 3 years old I was at the mall with my mother and for some minor infraction I did she said we had to leave the mall to which I responded "noooo." In a vain attempt to stay in a place where there was interest. As soon as I said no, my mother grabbed my chin squeezing my cheeks in and responded "You don't tell me no." Melissa you manhandled your children when they were unable to defend themselves from you. The most notable instance was at the mall, that memory is seared into my brain. In fact, even now I can still feel the pain of the woman squeezing my cheeks to her maximum ability trying to inflict the most control as possible through the infliction of physical pain
