Father Screaming
One day my father was in the living room sitting in his chair. I don't recall the reason why or how it played out, but one second my father stood up from the chair and was screaming as loud as he could. Screaming ahhh like not a painful scream more like a bodily reaction to trauma scream. It was so loud that I literally had to cover my ears and it was loud enough to be heard outside. There were multiple occasions of my father needing psychological treatment requiring hospitalization so much so I can't really recall if we took him by ourselves or if my mother called an ambulance during this incident. When I reflect upon my youth and trauma, hearing and watching your father scream as loud as he could at nothing then becoming non-responsive was impactful and something a eight or nine year old child shouldn't be subjected to.
