Senior Gifts Inequality

When I was a senior in high school my grandparents sent me something like $100 as a gift for graduation and they were the only ones I got a present from. I would give all of it to my parents so they could buy a car battery and anything else. In direct contrast, I remember going to best buy after my brother's high school graduation and he gotten near $2,000 from gifts that he used to buy one of the most expensive computers they had in stock. He got to go to New York city his senior year of high school, and then my parents paid for him to live there for a year. I had to walk to and from school every day and had to move four times my senior year because of evictions, ultimately losing all of my worldly possessions. Where were you Bryce?
