Faith: Ditch day doesn't start until school starts.
Chase: Says who?
Gigi: People who want to sleep in
Faith: Yes. Thank you.
Chase: We can't spend our only ditch day sleeping in.
Nikki: Chase is right for once.
Chase: Thank you, Nikki. Where are the football boys at?
Jake: I'm here.
Seth: Still here.
Shane: What?
Chase: No more practice. No excuse.
Jake: Does studying count as practice?
Kylie: Since when did you study??
Jake: Now if it will get me out of whatever crazy day Chase has in store for us.
Nikki: I agree with Jake
Gigi: Same here. Sorry babe :(
Chase: Come on guys. This is our only free day with an excuse to ditch school.

Chase: Hello????

Faith: Fine. Wait, can Tony come?
Chase: The more. The merrier.
Faith: Alright
Kylie: I got nothing better to do.
Nikki: I'm awake now and I can't go back to sleep. So I'm in.
Jake: It's whatever
Seth: Yeah I'm down.
Chase: Shane?
Shane: Can't
Jake: Why?
Shane: My mom wants me to help her run some errands.
Chase: Come on man

Kylie: Wait. What are the plans for Ditch Day?
Chase: You'll see...
Nikki: Well we have eighteen hours. Let's spend this right.

Jake and his friends all met up at the closest park near their neighborhood. All of them except for Shane. Jake and Seth sat on the hood of Jake's car. Gigi and Chase both sat on the bench while Chase had his arm around Gigi's neck. But Gigi kept glancing over at Nikki who stood with her arms crossed in front of her chest with her body leaning against the tree. But every now and then she would lock eyes with Gigi.
And Kylie- who sat on the grass by Nikki's feet- would notice the two of them. Faith and Tony were both cuddled up by a different tree but were both still involved in the circle.
"It's a shame Shane couldn't be here," Gigi spoke.
"Yeah," Nikki agreed. "I mean we only get one senior year and one senior ditch day."
"We can always make it up some other day," Jake stated.
"Yeah," everyone agreed in unison in a low tone.
