Valerian Calix

"That sounds good." Casey said.

"Tonight's gonna be packed, is your girl coming Tony?" Harden asked.

"She is. With Cor obviously." Tony winked at me although I already knew this.

"I'm gonna go, I'll be back before people start coming." I picked up my water bottle and said by byes.

I got to my house and Vina was there in her car.

I knocked on her window and she jumped.

"Jesus." She said and I could hear it through the door.

"What brings you here?" I asked, opening the door for her.

"To see you before everyone else does." She smiled at me.

"I'm gonna work out." I informed.

"You think I'm gonna leave when I can stay to see that? Of course unless you wanted to be alone before-"

I kissed her, she stumbled against her car and I pulled back.

"Do you want water?" I held her hand and brought her inside.

"Please." She cleared her throat.

I handed her a bottle and walked to my personal gym.

She gasped, observing it.

"Do what you wish, I'm gonna put music on so if you need me just come close." I said, hooking up my speakers.

"Can I pick your concert jeans?" She asked.

I smiled.

"Sure."

I put on music and she sat criss crossed on the ground, watching me.

I wondered her thoughts as she never grew bored of it.

But I ran on my treadmill, 15 elevation, 15 speed, 30 minutes.

I lifted, focused on biceps, triceps, and pecs.

I ended up taking my shirt off and she screamed as I joke so I threw it at her and she laughed.

My pre-concert routine took a hour and a half, sometimes 2 hours.

And she watched. Didn't touch her phone once, sang along when a song she knew came on.

It was interesting.

I grabbed one of my rags and wiped my face, my hair, my chest.

I tossed it over my shoulder and offered her a hand to stand.

She took it, standing, holding my shirt.

I offered to take it.

"Nope. I keep it." She said and I didn't argue.

"Do they go to any use?" I asked.

"Yes... then I wash it and wear it." She said.

I smiled.

"I'm gonna shower and get ready. I'm unsure what you want to do, if you want to wait, if you want to go. It's up to you doll."

She held onto my arm firmly, looking up at me.

"Alright." I walked up stairs, she let me go and followed me.

She studied my room, shocked almost.

"Hm?"

"It's as dark as I pictured."

If only she knew.

I went to my bathroom, running the water, grabbing a clean towel and cloth as I shut the bathroom door and showered, cleaning myself up and washing the fuck out of my hair.

When I finished I dried, tying the towel around my waist as I walked out.

She looked from her phone to me.

Then the flash went off.

"Vina." I frowned.

"What? I respect your privacy but those abs need to be in my camera roll." She smiled.

"It doesn't leave there." I said.

"Do you not trust me?"

"I do."

"I wouldn't do that to you." She said very sincerely.

"Thank you. Now about my jeans." I said and she came off my bed, looking through.

"These. They look so good on you. I remember three years ago, your first tour you wore these the second night of the first city and I loved it so much." She said.

I nodded. Grabbing a muscle shirt with that, going to my closet and changing.

I came back out and she groaned kicking her feet in the air, covering her face.

I smiled.

I squatted in front of my bed, pulling her wrists from her face.

"What?" I asked.

"You're Valerian Calix. As much as I see you as a human being, you're still you." Her face was bright red.

"It's alright." I understood.

She did very well seeing me otherwise obviously but I knew there'd be moments where she'd realize I still was a band boy and she might be excited.

Regardless I'd prefer her excitement than anyone else's.

I'd probably feel different if I wasn't an object to my 'fans' I love when people can escape with my music, but I hate people grabbing at me in the wrong areas and calling me sexual names.

If I was just appreciated for my talent and lightly on looks my life would be so much easier.

"Sign my boobs?" She joked.

I laughed, "with my mouth? Yes. Marker doesn't go there though." I said and she laughed.

"I need to get ready." She sighed.

"Do you need me to join you on your process?"

"You can. I'm just changing though." She shrugged.

"Come on." I helped her up.
