Valerian Calix

She was pissy.

She was grateful, but she was pissy. I loved it.

Being the cause of her anything was a gift.

"Those are pretty

"Those are pretty." I said and she hummed.

I laughed.

"Thank you. You don't have to buy anything for me." She said as I tapped my card.

I ignored her statement as I took her hand and left the salon.

I opened the door for her and she got in.

I got in my side and made sure she was buckled.

"You're terribly quiet." I said and she glared at me.

"I wonder why." She huffed.

I smiled.

"I certainly have no idea." I reversed, her eyes on me and I looked at her.

"What?"

"Why do you have to do that?"

"What?"

"Put your hand on my seat and turn the thing with one hand. Is that necessary?"

"I believe it is so I don't hit anyone." I nodded.

"You could just do it like a normal person and use your mirrors or the little camera here." She snapped.

I was going to keep pushing until she vocalized exactly what she wished of me.

So I put my hand on her thigh.

On the upper part, moving my thumb back and fourth.

She moved my hand lower on her leg.

I pushed my hand back up.

"Stop." She whispered.

So I removed my hand completely.

She huffed, crossing her arms and looking out the window.

"Want to shop for books?" I asked.

She nodded.

I pulled up to a coffee shop drive thru and got her a apple cider.

I handed it to her and she still frowned as she thanked me.

At the bookstore she placed everything in a basket that I carried.

At Target I drove the cart as she got all her art supplies and cleaning things.

After I paid, she looked at me.

"I'll never understand you."

"Hm?"

We walked to my car, filling my trunk completely as I got her back in the car, when I stood after she was in, she looked at me.
