Evelynn hurtled through the night sky, closing in on Kinkou Village. As she approached, a brilliant light erupted in the heavens, its blinding energy unleashing a cataclysmic shockwave that resonated with all-too-familiar dread.

"Y-Y/N!" Evelynn's voice quivered with urgency as she redoubled her speed, leaving a trail of thundering shockwaves in her wake.

The sheer force released by the explosion sent seismic tremors rippling across the world. In Kinkou Village, the earth quaked and shuddered, inflicting a nauseating magnitude of destruction. As Evelynn descended into the village, her presence alone providing a semblance of comfort, it became achingly apparent that safety had become an elusive concept in this once peaceful haven.

Amidst the turmoil, Evelynn's gaze alighted on Akali in the distance, who, despite the loss of her drunken stupor, fervently led civilians to whatever fragile sanctuaries they could find. And then, as if by some supernatural teleportation, Evelynn materialized before her friend, a testament to her otherworldly agility and speed.

"Akali!" Evelynn's voice wavered, her embrace of her friend unwavering as she returned to her more human form. "Thank the stars you're safe."

Akali, her own fears momentarily eclipsed by Evelynn's arrival, responded warmly to the embrace. "You sure know how to make an entrance, Eve."

Desperation clawed at Evelynn's heart as she pressed the matter of Y/N and Kayn. Her anxiety redoubled as Akali somberly pointed to the gargantuan, otherworldly energy sphere dominating the sky. The sheer scope of the explosion defied belief, even for someone as accustomed to the supernatural as Evelynn. While she suspected that Y/N might have had a plan for such an event, the unfolding reality remained a staggering shock.

"Please, be safe, Y/N," Evelynn's whispered plea resonated in her mind, a desperate hope amidst a tempest of uncertainty. Her heightened senses began to tingle (not in a spidey sense way) and she honed in on two objects plummeting from the heavens.

"Y/N!" Her voice rent the night as she surged forward. Without hesitation, she transformed into her fearsome Demon Form, propelling herself toward the descending figures like a missile.

As she drew nearer, Y/N and Kayn materialized within her sights, their descent perilously rapid.

"Gotcha!" Evelynn's triumphant cry rang out as she caught Y/N, her arms cradling him like a precious infant.

She gently placed Y/N on the ground and quickly turned her attention to the unconscious and still-falling Kayn. However, a shadowy figure abruptly descended from the sky, scooping up Kayn before Evelynn could react.

In the blink of an eye, the enigmatic newcomer plucked Kayn as Evelynn turned her focus back to Y/N, her heart racing.

To her astonishment, Y/N's clothes had completely disappeared, his naked body remained pristine, devoid of injury. Not a single scratch or bruise marred his form. Instead, she beheld a lone, formidable scar etched into his skin—a colossal, crimson scar that rested just above his abdomen, as if he'd been struck by a titanic cannonball that had torn through his very being.

The tension in the air grew palpable as Y/N's eyes flew open. He shot up with a primal roar, terror etched across his face, his breaths rapid and ragged. He appeared as if he had emerged from a nightmare more horrifying than any he'd ever experienced.

Evelynn, her form partially shielding him, whispered reassuringly, "It's okay, my love, I'm here. You're safe."

Y/N's tears flowed freely, his voice carrying an uncharacteristic timidity and remorse. "I'm so sorry, Eve. Oh, dear god, I'm so sorry."
