"What troubles you boy?" A voice says behind me.

I turn. I see Vucub, God of Jungle Animals. He was blinded by Lord Mictlan. Most tragic. I let out a breath.

"I don't... know." I answer.

He walks forward.

"I sense a trouble bubbling up within you. Are the dreams getting worse?" He asks.

I look at him surprised.

"How did you know?" I ask.

"Even a blind bird can see your fear." He says.

"The dreams, I see me but I'm different." I say.

"Tell me." He says.

"It's hard to explain." I say.

"Hmmm. Then let us try something else." He says.

"Vucub. What are you doing here?" Father asks walking.

"Nothing Camazotz." Vucub jumps away.

What the? Is my father hiding something from me?

"What did he say to you, my boy?" Father asks.

"Nothing father." I turn.

"Hmmm." Father's eyes narrow.

I push away from him.

"Zatz." He says.

I turn to him.

"You can talk to me, you know that don't you?" He asks.

I nod.
