Arkansas State Graduation
In what would be my final semester at Arkansas State I hadn't really accepted and was worried that I wouldn't graduate because one teacher was late in grading her final assignment. It was my speech class and I read from a script in the final speech that I placed behind the camera which the syllabus strictly said not to do, but I think being the end of the year she just gave me credit
The worst thing was before I was 100% complete with my degree, it was at 99% whenever graduating seniors were to walk the stage I went to walk without any guarantee that I truly got the diploma. My sister and Ryan as well as my nephew attended and it actually is a really proud moment when I reflect upon it. It took me 10 years but I finally had a bachelor's degree.
After a week and a half of walking the stage I got my grade in speech and I passed to where when I logged onto the degree progress it showed 100%. Whenever I met with my doctor in Bennington the semester before I was to enroll she asked about college and when I was set to graduate, and at that time I honestly didn't think I ever was.
As a gift of achieving what seemed unachievable my sister and Ryan bought me a college ring to symbolize my completion.
