Charli had done great at stealing the ball back from the striker and she passed it to you and you lost the ball falling to the ground being tripped up and they scored
You covered your face you just lost you failed the team
You are crying laying face down on the field
You feel someone patting you on the back
"Hey it's not your fault" macca says patting your back
"Y/n babes get up please"Alanna says rubbing your back
"None of us blame you y/n/n we were playing as a team that last half it wasn't your fault" Sam says
You feel soft warm hands help pick you up
You are met by Stephy and Hayley's soft sweet brown eyes
They engulf you in a hug where you sob
"It's my fault I fell and just watched it go in" you say crying clutching their jerseys
Tony runs on the field seeing the circle forming
He pulls you in for a hug
"Darlin that was world class defending you were taken out there was nothing you could do we can't win every game"Tony say hugging you
Once in the locker room
You stayed quiet the whole rest of the travel with worried eyes watching you
Seeing how much you kept looking at your phone and all the hateful comments they knew they were getting to you
Hayley gently took your phone out of your hands
"That's enough of that dear" Hayley said
"Reading the comments isn't gonna do you any good y/n/n" Ellie said
"Trust us we've all been there and it sucks but it happens too everyone and the comments from the fans is the worst part" Steph says
