Today was the match against France

You were on the starting line up

You were nervous but your anxiety is always the worst before matches

So Macca pulled you aside to warm up with her

"Jump around to get your nervous out y/n/n" Macca says demonstrating

You jump around before running sprints your stomach has been hurting but your anxiety does that to you

The game starts

And you are running after the France player and you are pushing and shoving each other pretty rough

Your stomach is really starting to hurt

You see the ball heading to Macca in goal and you sprint to try and beat the France player you go for a long slide tackle and the ball clean

When you try to get up shooting pain goes down your right side

You scream in pain clutching your side

Steph looks confused till she sees you clutching your side rolling in pain

The whistle blows

"Medics medics" Steph calls

Kyra is kneeling beside you with Caitlin

"What happened" Ellie asks

"My side it's like I'm being stabbed" you wince again

You keep crying in pain

None of the girls know what to do you have really good pain tolerance so this has to be really bad

The medics ask Caitlin where it hurts and she says your right side the medics all give a knowing look

The medics press gently on your right side

You shoot up shoving the medic away

When you scream in pain they call for an ambulance

"It's her appendix" one of the medics says

The girls are told to keep uoh laying down so they push you back down flat

You panic at hearing sirens get closer

"What happening" you ask Caitlin panicking

She looks at you sadly

"Y/n/n everything's gonna be alright lay back down" Caitlin says softly

Kyra and Hayley hold you down now that Caitlin and Sam are talking to the medics away from you

The ambulance pulls outside the stadium you see the medics rushing in with the stretcher

"I don't wanna go" you start crying seeing all the lights flashing and the crowd has gone quiet

"They will fix this love" Hayley says wiping your tears away

Kyra is crying silently holding you down as the medics sedate you

"This will keep her calm enough for us to transport her to surgery we already called and they are preparing a operating room" the medic explained to tony and the girls surrounding you

"Well someone need to go with her" Kyra says upset

"Kristie will go" Sam says waving her down onto the field from the stands

Kristie runs down into the pitch to the group surrounding you

"Babe will you ride with y/n/n to the hospital I don't want her alone when she wakes up we will be there right after the match" Sam says

"Of course I will I'll send updates" kristie says before kissing Sam and holding your hand while being carted into the ambulance

Charli and mini wrap Kyra in a hug

"She'll be alright we will all go see her after the match Kyra" mini says

The whole teams worried about you

They end up going into penalties and winning

They rush to the hospital

The team piles into the hospital lobby

"Where is y/n y/l/n" Caitlin asks leading the group

They point towards down the hall

They all rush in to see kristie on her phone with you asleep

They all walk in quietly

Seeing you sound asleep

Kyra is sitting next to you on the bed just relishing in your warmth

"The doctors said she'll be asleep for a while with all the meds she's on" Kristie explains

Charli squeezes onto the bed on the other side of you

The nurses brought in more chairs for the rest of the team

When you finally stirred everyone was mothering you

To be fair you are the youngest on the national team and your parents aren't anywhere near here so they have all become your big sisters

You showed them your waist was wrapped and you couldn't really feel any of the pain yet because of the meds

"I guess i can't play for a little while" you say sadly

The older girls all look at you shocked

"That doesn't matter we need you better kiddo" macca says

"All that matters is your recovery nothing else" Ellie says

You end up falling asleep with the girls staying the night in your room
