Matilda's one shots

Over heated

Your camp this week was in Florida

It was absolutely beautiful but it was very very hot

You aren't exactly used  to all of this humidity but as a team you've been practice with a hard match coming up later this week

Against Mexico a very fast and young team

Today you'd already been practicing as a team for 3 hours you'd had many water breaks but you just felt absolutely worn out

You loved feeling worn because it meant you've been putting the work in

You were running sprints now and Kyra was holding your band as you ran sprints

You'd gone back and forth about five times now and you were struggling

You pushed through only having a few more drills

Next was poles you were weaving in between the poles left and right following the person in front of you going from walking to sprinting

Once done you saw black speck start to cloud your vision and you kneeled down on the ground trying to see again

Your vision was going in and out of darkness

Before you felt yourself hit the ground

"Y/n/n" Kyra yelled rushing to you passed oh on the ground

All the team turned around to see you crumbled on the ground and sprinting towards you on the ground

The girls were waving and yelling for medics and help you weren't moving and your breaths were very shallow

Medics ran from across the field

Charli joined Kyra beside you

"She overheated move her inside" the medics ordered

They placed you on a stretcher before rushing you inside

"Ladies were done with practice for the day" tony announced following the medics inside with you

Once the medics got you on a bed they got fans and ice packs laid all over you to cool you down fast

They hooked you up with an iv drip for hydration

The girls were coming in and out seeing you but you were still asleep

"It's good she's asleep better for her body to cool" the medic explains to tony

A few hours later your woken and well rested

"There you are welcome back" Kyra jokes

"What happened" you ask confused

"You overheated y/n/n" Charli explains

"Your better now they took care of you and for you cooled and hydrated" Kyra explains seeing the panic set into your face

Kyra and Charli help you walk to dinner

When you walk in your surrounded by the older girls almost immediately

Macca grabs you into a hug before anyone else

You hugged macca back enjoying the warmth after how cold you've been the past couple hours

"You scared us so bad" Alanna says

"I'm really sorry I didn't know I was over heated" you say

Steph pats your head lovingly before pulling you in for a hug

Hayley and Ellie both squeeze you tightly

You end up sitting with Caitlin and Sam and you'll end up later watching a movie together to end out the night the medical team keeps a close eye on you the next few days and keeps you extra hydrated
