Chapter Thirty-Five: What... What have YOU done?

Third Person POV 

Everyone was shocked that Atami was dead, Thatch wasn't taking the news pretty well since he was crying. Opal was in her human form, crying as well. Marines cheered & yelled out 'The Demon is dead!' All the Pirates were angry but they didn't kill them but, fled. On the order of Whitebeard himself. He knew that he was going to die as well so he told Marco & the other Whitebeard Pirates to take the Moby Dick & leave, & they did as he said

Opal was with them as they left since she lost her Master, Marco was the new Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates but he didn't want to be, he wanted Whitebeard back. Ace did as he was promised, he left Atami on the battle field with Luffy, but he was still crying

"Luffy please just... stop crying!" Jinbe then came by & ran along side with Ace

"Ace-san, how are we going to get away?! Opal-chan & the Whitebeard Pirates are already gone!" they were at the docks of the Ships & tried to find a way to get away, that's when a yellow Submarine appeared

"What the heck?" when Trafalgar Law came out of the Sub & noticed the three he had this urge to help them 

"Portgas-ya, get Straw Hat-ya in here!"

"How can I trust you?!"

"Its either that or die." Ace stood there in thought, trust him & leave or, stay here & die "Clocks ticking Portgas-ya."

"Fine! do anything to him your toast."

"That doesn't matter, I made a promise to Atami-ya way back."

"You what?!"

"There's no time to explain!"

Tsume POV

I was dashing from place to place, every inch of the Marineford trying to find Atami. I already know that she was dead since her death was live, & now its gonna be on the newspaper. I finally found her dead body & I looked at her

"She died... with a smile on her face. Just like Gol D. Roger, her father." I frown at that, I slowly pick her up bridal style & run off. But came back to grab her sword, I dashed towards our ship & quickly yet gently placed her on the bed

"Jasper! get your ass in here & help her! Jezaya get us out of her now!"

"Right away!" I stayed in the infirmary room with Atami & Jasper, I looked at her sword & saw that the blade was shattered. I look at her fist & see there was blood, did she shatter her own blade? I should show this to Jezaya later

~ Time Skip ~ With the Whitebeard Pirates

It was the day of Edward Newgate & Portgas D. Atami's funeral, everyone was very depressed after the days that have passed. Marco was the new Captain, Thatch was the Commander of the First Division, Opal was the Commander of the Second Division while Devina was the Commander of the Third Division

"Thatch, when your ready-yoi."

"Okay." Thatch got off his bed & followed Marco out with a bouquet of pink hibiscus flowers in his hands, as they climbed the hill to where Atami & Whitebeard's tombstones were. He placed the flowers on her tomb & a single teardrop fell from his eyes

"I wish I got to see you again Atami, but I'll always remember you... you & Pops." Opal walked up to her tombstone & smiled sadly

"I hope you get to see your mother & father Master..."

"Marco, lets get going."

"Are you sure-yoi?"

"Yeah I'm sure." he smiled sadly at Marco & walked back to the ship, everyone else had their heads down & cried silently

"Alright, men! lets go..."

~ Dream World [Sorta] ~ Atami POV

I slowly open my eyes & see that I was lying on a cloud, it was so soft. I jump up & notice that my arm was missing & there was a hole in my chest/stomach area 

"Man, that wasn't a dream. Am I really dead?"

"Yes you are Atami, we're sorry to hear about that."

"Who's there?! who said that?" 

"We did Atami." I turn around & in shock, my eyes widen

"But... how? you... you..."

"Died? yeah we did." it was my mum & dad

"Come here Atami, our little princess." I got up from where I was, jumped & hugged them both "We always watched over you Atami, you & Ace." I was crying, so were they

"I thought I would never see you."

"We thought you wouldn't die until you were at least very old."

"Don't say something like that Roger."

"But I'm saying the truth."

"Looks like that brat is here." I look up & see Whitebeard, I smile

"Old man!" I give him a hug, he hugs me back

"Your father was right, I thought you'd die of old age with Thatch." I gasp

"Thatch! I wonder if he's gonna be okay without me."

"I sure he will but, now that your here we're happy." I smile but that's when I felt like I was being sucked away 

"What's going on?" even they were confused, but soon their eyes widen & they started crying

"Atami your..."

"Starting to wake up, someone is bringing you back to life!"

"B-But I don't want to wake up, I want to stay here!" I give them a hug but I was legit being pulled away from them

"Atami... you have to let go."

"But I don't want to!"

"If you don't, what will happen to Thatch or... or even Ace & Luffy."

"They still need you." that's when I was pried from their grip but the last thing I heard from the three of them was

'They still need you...'

~ Awake ~

My eyes shot awake, they were widen when I felt the pain of my right arm... missing. I slowly sat up & used my left arms to steady myself

"Why?..." I made a arm out of water but it wasn't shaped like an arm [If you know Demonic Seras, from Hellsing. That's what her arm looks like]

"Why?..." I ripped the medical equipment off me & sliced the door into half with my watery/icy arm

"What... What have YOU done?"
