Chapter Forty-One || The Cavendish Problem

Third Person POV 

Luffy, Ace & Atami [they still don't know its her yet] are currently looking for armor. Atami easily recognized them & shook her head, she put on a golden helmet but it showed her eyes. Her scarf beautifully flowed in the wind, her ring showed on her left finger & she smiled 

"I promise Thatch." as she said that she kissed the beautiful ring, she passed Ace & when he looked at the tattoo on her arm his eyes widened a little 

"Luffy... Luffy!" he whispered/shouted 

"What?" 

"I saw ASLA on a girls arm, with the S & the Second A crossed out!" 

"So?"

"It sounds similar to the one when we were younger, the ASLA Pirates." Luffy's eyes slightly widened, Ace was right

"Where is she now?!" 

"Right there!" but when he turned around she was already gone "Damn it!"

"Pointing at me I see."

"Huh." the person Ace was now pointing at was a guy with long blonde hair & had a lot of sprinkles around him, also he was eating a rose

"I wasn't pointing towards you at all."

"You must want to know about me, isn't that right?"

"No."

"Well if you insist."

"What is with this guy?" Luffy shrugged

"I entered the New World 3 years ago. The whole world knew about the beautiful Rookie who was worth over 200,000,000 beli. Newspapers covered me everyday. Girls went nuts over my Wanted Poster. They stole all of them through out the town. Everybody was going crazy over me. But a year later, Whitebeard's war of the best drew their attention away. Straw Hat Luffy came into the spotlight along with Whitebeard. On top of that, new rookies kept coming one after another. Reporters don't pay attention to me anymore. That's why I'm gonna kill them, every single one of them! But the one who drew ALL the attention away, was that female Pirate! Water Witch Atami! When I eat that Mizu Mizu No Mi, the Fans will come back." 

"You weight is fine now."

"Finally!"

"You weren't listening?!"

"Nope." he growled

"Wait, we haven't gotten your name yet."

"*Gasp* My name is Cavendish, I am in Block D."

"I'm... Ash, I'm in Block E."

"I'm Luffy, I'm gonna be the Pirate King." Ace face palmed, Cavendish broke the steam of his rose. Luffy's cape fell off & his 'real' name showed

"LUCY!?"

"Don't get up confused!"

"Oh yeah, my name is Lucy & I'm in Block C."

"*Sigh* If you were the 'real' Straw Hat Luffy, then I might have had to kill you, on the spot, right now." both of them gulp

"Welp we gotta go, we wanna watch the fight." but before they could run away they heard the announcer Gyats say

"Looks the the winner of Block A is, Jesus Burgess, from the Infamous crew the Blackbeard Pirates." Ace started getting pissed, he was heating up but Luffy calmed him down

"He's not getting Atami's fruit, I'll kick his ass in the final." 

"I will!"

"Shut up Lucy! you don't know what I had to go through with his crew!"

"I know that you lost!" in the corner was Atami, she was listening to the whole conversation & was laughing

"Oh he just got burned." she chuckled & left 

"Why you little!"

"All contenders in Block B, please head to the Arena." that was Luffy's cue to run

"Uh uh uh, get back here!" Ace started chasing Luffy around but for some reason, he was able to get away from Ace "Why are you so fast!?"

"I've been running away from beasts during those two years." he started laughing but didn't notice that Ace tackled him

"Got'cha now!"

"No! have mercy!"

"Say your sorry!"

"Never!"

"Say it!"

"Fine! I'm sorry!..."

"That's all you had to say." Ace let go of him while Luffy was glaring at him

"That your a loser!"

Atami POV

I shook my head as I saw the two fighting, I walk out [in a way] & watch the battle of Block B. I notice a guy with green hair doing jack, a guy with blue hair & he was tall & another guy with a crown on his head & boxing gloves

"What a weird looking bunch." as they continue to fight the announcer Gyats was yelling so loud, I felt like my ears were gonna pop

"Can he ever stop yelling?"

"Who knows." that when I fell, I got up & notice a guy wearing a cloak, it was Sabo "I'm sorry, did I scare you?"

"Yes, yes you did." he extends his hand out to mine

"My name is Zia, whats yours?" I was panicking

"Ella."

"You have a pretty name." he says as he shook my hand

"Thanks." I look back at the arena & notice a fishman "Hack?" 

"Did you say something?" 

"No no no, I didn't say anything." he shrugged then looked back at the battle, we both watched Hack fight & he was pretty good. This time he fought the guy with green hair that was shaped like a roaster, I think his name was Bartolomeo the Cannibal, as he used his fishman karate on him he suddenly, lost

"What the?" Bartolomeo came from behind & defeated him 

"Hack..." I turn around & see Sabo leaving, I sigh 

"At least you haven't recognized me yet." then he was gone
