This story has been fun and quite different from most stories since Laura was just an innocent child who never ended up in the fighting.
I would love to give a huge thank you to a handful of people who kept me writing this story - @jself1, @booklover67, @bobsyperreck, @welshbird1983, and @MistressSugar. You stuck with me throughout the entire journey and your comments gave me the needed incentive to finally finish this story.
It has been a long six months, but I think it turned out quite well.

Completed: June 5, 2017 (wrote on and off while getting distracted with other stories) Minor edit completed on Dec. 8, 2017, although it needs another big edit to match the revised version of A Different Virus: Heartfire.
