We left town and ommedetly headed for Nimbus. We kept our weapons ready in case any monsters attacked us on the way, couldn't afford to get hurt, especially if death was involved. "So, the three of us being heroes." Mira said smirking.

"It feels interesting, but let's not let it get over our heads." I said.

"Okay, fine." Mira said. "But I can't promise anything."

"Speaking of, your an actual in-game mercenary?" I said confused.

"You bet, I've been doing this job since I was 14, and don't plan on retiring." Mira replied smiling. "Okay, let's get back on track." I said.

"Right." Mira said running ahead of us.

"Wait, Mira!" Li yelled.

A demon wolf jumped directly towards her. We about jumped in, but Mira cut it down before we could.

"I had it handled." Mira said smirking.

"I see, but look around us." Li said summoning his sword.

We looked and saw more demon wolves surrounding us.

"Not good." I said summoning my sword.

"Lets get them!" Mira yelled charging in.

Li and I did the same instantly killing a few in one shot, the pack of monsters was eventually gone after awhile.

"That was too easy." I said looking around.

"Agreed, stay alert." Li said keeping an eye out.

Another wolf eventually showed up, but was bigger and had spikes all around him, it was the alpha.

"Figured." I said attacking it.

He avoided me and Mira's attacks easily with its speed, Li even had trouble getting a hit on it. "It's too fast." Mira said annoyed.

"Will never get it at this rate." Li said before getting knocked down by it.

The demon about attacked him again before it was killed in front of us, a hooded figure with a massive bow jumped directly in front of us. I looked at the players username. 3xcalibur

"So, you a friend?" I asked concerned.

"For now I am, just don't expect this again." She said before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

"That was weird." Li said confused.

"Agreed, she didn't seem like an average player either." I said concerned.

"She's a lonewolf, players that always go solo, usually helping in the shadows. She shouldn't be a problem." Mira explained.

"I guess, let's hurry and get to a town before it gets dark." I said leading us forward.

We continued along the trail ahead of us until we arrived at a small mining town named Rackara. "This is interesting." I said.

"I guess we didn't expect small towns to be along the way." Mira said smirking. "At least we can relax."

"I wouldn't count on that." Li said. "Look."

We looked at the town's other entrance, it was blocked by a makeshift barricade.

"What's going on here?" I asked concerned.

A villager overheard me and answered. "Demons, they've settled in the mines and forced the neighboring town to close us off fearing an attack. Without them, we can't trade our resources for proper payment with merchants."
