Screaming.

I heard.

Everything was bright.

Blood.

Merciless.

The chains snapped.

Silver burned.

Then darkness.

Light burned against my eyelids.

Silk sheets rustled with movement.

Warm hand.

Hands tangled with my hair.

Fingers touching Damon's mark.

I shuddered.

Fingers pausing on the base of my neck.

Cool air.

Wet cloths on my burns.

Hushed whispers.

Blood.

Hot.

I opened my eyes.

Lashes brushed against my lids.

Figures swayed.

One became many.

I looked for one.

He wasn't there.

I couldn't move.

He wasn't there.

I opened my mouth.

I couldn't speak.

He wasn't there.

Twins rushed to my side.

He wasn't there.

Damon's mother was quick after them.

He wasn't there.

Soft hands.

Then he appeared.

Eyes glowing gold.

He flicked his hand.

Everyone was gone.

He locked the doors.

His beast was out.

Blood.

On his face.

His hands.

I tried to sit.

He pushed me back onto the bed, a feral look taking over his face.

Fangs out and tipped with blood.

I slapped him and his head snapped to the right. I pulled myself up using his forearms as support.

"Mine." I hissed out and wiped the blood gently away from his face. "No more."

He knew what I was saying. He couldn't drink anybody's blood but mine.

I offered my neck to him and he plunged in without a second thought. I fell back onto the bed, my hands holding onto the back of his neck.

He drank greedily and pulled back, his golden eyes now a blood red. My eyes closed, as a wave of weakness flooded over me.

He gently pushed my head to the side and touched the back of my neck, before fully turning me onto my side to touch the back of my neck properly.

"There's another one here." he said. I put my hand back to where his hand was, trying to feel what he was seeing.
