Anabia was taking a nap after offering zuhr prayer when her sleep broke by the knock on the door. Getting up she draped her duppata on her head and went to open the door.

“Hi” This was Arsam smiling brightly but her blood boiled seeing him here. If he hadn’t abducted her, she would not have to be in Maier’s life

“What are you doing here?” Her tone strict and cold

While Arsam was a little taken aback by her behavior

“Won’t you ask me in ..?”

“No, I don’t meet strangers and criminals” She was rigid enough and it made him suppress his laughter

“Well I’m not a stranger to you, we are friends right”

“I was never and I can never be your friend” she retorded

“Anabia I am really sorry for whatever …” She was now irritated

“Can’t you get it, I don’t want to talk to you”

“But I …” Stepping back she raised her hand to stop him as he was about to enter the room

“I can’t let you in without my husband's permission”

“Ex-excuse me” Arsam was surprised, “if you’re forgetting I am your husband’s best friend”

“Whatever, but our religion doesn’t allow it, you can’t come to this room unless my husband permit me” Arsam now felt respect for her, she was protecting her and her husband’s honour

“Ok, I just came here to drop this” Arsam brought his hand forward and as her eyes travelled downwards, she saw her handbag in his hand.

“It was left in my car, you know that day when …” he was talking about the day when they kidnapped her

“I know” She doesn't want to think about that dreadful day that changed everything for her. Taking it from him, she quickly searched it while Arsam who turned to leave has to stop hearing her

“Where’s my phone?” getting her purse gave her hope that she can contact her Abi but her phone was missing

“It’s with Maier” There she goes, her hopes faded away in a second

“Arsam Hi, when did you come?” Manal came to them but what surprised Anabia was the way she addressed Arsam, He must be 5 years older to her and also he is her brother’s friend

“Hey beautiful” Arsam gave a side hug to Manal and she was staring at them dumbfounded

“Do they meet just like this always? He is a criminal”

“Manal you know him?” she decided to ask and Arsam was finding it very hard to suppress his laughter now

“Of course Bhabi he is my fiancé” Anabia was stunned by the answer she got

“By the way Arsam I’ve to know a lot about Bhai and Bhabhi’s love story from you” Anabia’s face turned red while Arsam now broke into fits of laughter and it irked Anabia

“You … just go to hell” she closed the door at their faces while Manal was astonished at her reaction

“What happened to her?”

“Nothing, we just had an argument. You know friend’s bickering” and it somehow satisfied Manal

“Ok come I’ve got the passes for the concert, be ready at 8:00” Arsam told her and Anabia who was listening to them couldn’t digest the fact that Maier got his sister engaged to a criminal
