7:19 pm.

I hardly visited Leone's place. His house possessed an eery vibe. I never enjoyed visiting him here, but I didn't want to invite him to mine. It was Leone's last day in New York before he takes off, and I had mixed emotions about him leaving.

He had a penthouse, but it wasn't comparable to Ezio's. Leone's home didn't suit him, more of a temporary place for him to stay for the time being.

"Hey."

Leone's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. I pulled a smile as he entered my view. I purse my lips as he lays a soft peck on my forehead. I looked around as I caught a glimpse of numerous boxes stacked on top of each other.

"How are you?" I asked, my voice echoing throughout his empty apartment.

He pursed his lips. "Tired."

I lifted the paper bag in my hand, offering a small smile. "Hope you're in the mood for takeout."

He grinned as he took the food from my grasp. He pecked my cheek as he walked to his kitchen. We remained silent as he started to take out the warm food from the bag. I bite my lip, feeling anxious as the awkward tension began to settle.

"I packed my utensils already." He muttered to himself after he opened one of his kitchen drawers.

I grabbed out chopsticks and offered it to him. "You have to learn eventually." I raised an eyebrow as a smirk grew on my lips. He sighed as he accepted it. "I don't think I ever will."

I let out a soft chuckle as I broke my sticks apart, grabbing the container with the noodles. I felt my son move slightly in my belly as I felt uncomfortable in the silence. It was as if he didn't enjoy it either.

"What are we?" I quietly murmured. I peeked from beneath my eyelashes, watching Leone pause his action.

"I don't know." He answered, resuming to eat. I bit my lip. "I won't be around for a while." He muttered softly. "I'm sure we both know what we have to do."

I nodded my head, attempting to control my uneven breath. I felt tears in my eyes, knowing I would miss Leone.

"I'm sorry for treating you the way I was towards the end. . ."

He kissed my temple. "Don't be. I understand."

We continued to finish our meals in silence, eventually laughing at Leone's failing attempts at using a pair of chopsticks. I felt less guilty that we weren't leaving on bad terms. I would miss him as a friend.

I enjoyed the moment together, knowing it was the last one.

"How's it going?" Lilly asks. Just as I was about to answer in the chaos I was in, my father's assistant came around, running towards me with a few papers in her grasp.
