ADRIAN'S PENTHOUSE WAS JUST what I had expected it would be.

The interior design is characterized by sleek lines, high ceilings, and a harmonious blend of contemporary and luxurious elements. The private elevator made entirely of glass separates the penthouse from the levels below, it also gave easy access to the two floors that belonged to Adrian and opened directly into the grand foyer.

The expansive open floor plan created a seamless flow between all areas, the longue is adorned with plush sofas and armchairs arranged around a stunning Calacatta marble fireplace but the layout also allows the residents to bask in the breathtaking panoramic views of the city the glass walls provide, one of which opens into a patio equipped with more views to wow, a heated four-sided infinity edge pool overlooking and an outdoor kitchen.

Adjacent to it a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen awaits, equipped with everything culinary artists dream of from custom cabinetry to sleek countertops which seamlessly integrate into a dining area, complete with a large, dining table under a Givenchy chandelier, meant for hosting.

There were countless other rooms and a whole other floor that I hadn't gotten to explore due to our tight time frame but Adrian's room was not on that list since that's where I am right now, changing into something more comfortable while taking in the space that is entirely his.

Considering our week-long stay in Italy, we'd unanimously decided it easier and much more efficient to move all my belongings to the penthouse before leaving and seeing as both Adrian and I had to freshen up before the flight, we had the same destination.

His room is just as lavish, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the insomniac streets of NYC, framed by thick navy curtains to block out any unwanted light, the wall against his bed is painted in a limewash texture, the pale grey colour covering two out of three walls-the third one, which led to the closet and bathroom was navy.

His bed is massive and serves as the centrepiece, well, along with the gorgeous chandelier which resembled a magnificent erupting firework solely made of incandescent glass-of the room with sheets that looked very very inviting. Especially knowing Adrian has a taste for Egytian Cotton.

Ignoring the sweet calls of the king sized bed I shift on the plush off white rug focusing on tugging on my clothes which consisted of a square neck tank top paired with loose tan coloured wide leg pants and a collered cashmere cardigan  that will help me stave off the night chill until we reach the much warmer Land Of Pasta And Pizza.

I've pritorised my comfort seeing as the flight spans eight long, dreadful hours. The thought brings a bout of sickness with it but I put it off as I've been doing for hours.

I'm unbuttoning all the buttons of my cardigan except the middle three when I walk into the living room and find Adrian snoring lightly on the couch. His hair ruffled as though he'd carelessly thrown on his hoodie and black pants.
