CH.18 Independance

summary: cabinet meeting take two. king eret asks to see tubbo and techno is done with the details he just wants war.

 A couple days had passed down in lmanburg by now. The air was no longer still and it seemed anxious because we all knew some conflict was brewing. In that time none of us had even seen dream and we were astounded to know that no one else had either. Most people at first glance would have thought that was a good thing but with dream it was the opposite. He was someone you didn't want planning. Ranboo had also been gone for a bit and neither me or ghostbur had left land so we assumed he was in the inbetween.

The cabinet meeting was supposed to be rescheduled for today at tubbos house in about 25 minutes and I knew that was part of the reason for the anxious air. Since no one had seen him it seemed unreasonable for him not to just show up on randomly again and ruin it. I for one was trying to stay positive considering tubbo had been worried about it a lot.

Overall me and tubbo were ok. He had taken a day off to just chill and sleep in and thankfully agreed with me that he needed that. He decided to take half the next day off too but he did need to work so he got back to it sooner or later.

" What do you want: apple, berries, milk, water... uh melon? Cake?" asked tubbo searching through his fridge

" can't go wrong with cake for breakfast"

He pulled the cake out of the fridge

" water or milk" he asked grabbing glasses

" uh water i guess" i said sitting down at the table

He brought the cake over before he went to grab the glasses. I stood up and went through the cabinets to find a plate and a fork

" where is the-"

" over here" he said opening the silverware drawers and handing me a fork

"Thanks" i said

We sat back down as we cut some slices of cake and started eating

"Mmmm this is really good"

" yeah someone gave it to me i think phil maybe it was sometime after you passed when you were gone"

I nodded as i ate some

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Tubbo checked his watch inquisitively considering the meeting didn't start for 15 more minutes. Tubbo opened the door

" hey sorry I know we're early" said Phil

" I don't understand why i've been going to the meetings I don't want to help your stupid government as much as I miss Tommy and Wilbur I can't" said techno

" listen techno I know you're an anarchist i get it i- i don't know we need someone to fight against dream and your the best evenly matched person"

" i find that hiiiiighly offensive, highly offensive. You're saying im evenly matched to a person that doesnt even have a home!" he said

" he literally has op on the server though.." i said

" which he's not allowed to use in battle idiot" said techno

" he's not supposed to use it all" says phil

" anyway we just need you to fight the only reason why i'm bringing you to the meetings is so i can explain who and why were fighting" said tubbo

" bruuh. you think about the details let me go prepare"

"Techno?"i said " maybe no withers or mass amounts of tnt"

" yeah i agree" said tubbo

" what is the fun in that" said techno

" just go prepare mate" said phil
