We Will Not Back Down
As the great day draws near, things grow harder
In this chaotic mess of a world;
Temptations surround us everywhere we go;
People these days are losing hope.
But we will not forget who we are:
Children of the Lord Almighty God;
From Him we will never depart;
With His guidance, we stay strong.
There are more storms to ride out,
More tsunamis to face;
But we will not back down;
We will strive to complete the race.
We will keep holding on
Until the return of Jesus Christ,
When we at least reach God's Kingdom,
Where there is no groaning or crying.
