Just hold on a little bit longer
Until that great day when Christ returns;
You will at least have completed your sojourn;
And there will be no more hardships to endure.
Hence, you are to fight for your faith,
That you may not be led astray,
Call upon His Most Holy Name;
You shall complete the race.
And in spite of your personal problems,
If you remain true and wholeheartedly obey Him,
You shall be strong like that of a stick
That is seen to stand tall against the wind.
Hold onto the promises of the Lord,
And uphold His pristine Word;
That you may receive eternal life
On the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
