All You Need Is God
The presence of people is fleeting
As if what you shared meant nothing;
Though God stays for eternity;
Incomparable is His loyalty.
People can break your heart
And do you many kinds of harm;
Though God can mend the scars;
From your side, He will never depart.
People can make promises
Only to break them in the end;
Though whatever God says,
Will undoubtedly take place.
There is no need to rely on others
To be happy and strong,
When there is a friend much greater:
The Almighty One.
