The World Will Come To Pass

On a regular basis people worldwide

Attempt to end their lives;

Many succeed in doing so,

A sign of loss of hope.

There is no country without crime,

Without a crazed desire

For fame, power, and wealth;

Many seem to only look out for themselves.

All over the globe, there is poverty,

The infamous struggle to make ends meet;

Though many have turned a deaf ear

To their cries, a blind eye to their tears.

Indeed, this world is on a destructive path;

Though these things will come to pass;

We must hold onto the threads of hope,

For we could not have overcome our battles alone.

The Lord Almighty God is with us;

In Him, let us place our complete trust,

That whatever tribulations may betide,

Through the darkness, we can see the light.

Just a little bit longer, and our problems

Will come to a permanent end;

When we reach the Heavenly Kingdom,

Where unto Him, we shall sing eternal praises.
