The Lord Is Your Friend
The road is filled with bumps;
Indeed, this life is rough;
Though you are just as tough;
For your strength comes from God.
The tears you are shedding right now
Will be replaced by a genuine smile,
As you witness in your darkest hours
The power of the Most High.
You are never alone in this journey;
Whether you believe it or not,
Wherever you may be,
You are surrounded by His love.
Hence, do not be quick to run;
You must stand tall before your problems;
You can endure and carry on;
For the Lord is your friend.
