Chapter 19

Celine

 I walked out of the dressing room  and looked at Shells. "What do you think?" Her eyes widened as I spun around. This dress was completely different from my normal wear. I was wearing a light blue strapless dress and Shells was trying to get me to wear heels and I was close to succumbing, but it wouldn't work with what I was planning to accessorize with. Shelly got herself a dress and we decided to leave the store wearing our new outfits. We pulled up to the dorms and everything looked so different. We got to my dorm and I began unlocking the door. Shelly pushed it open and the guys jumped out, yelling, "Surprise!" My eyes widened as they threw confetti at me. Pierce spun me around. I laughed.

  "Guys, what is this?" They all smiled at me sheepishly.

 "Welcome back!" Eight and Johnny said coming up to hug me, squeezing me to death.  "I-I c-an't breathe!" Crooks was over there laughing.

 "Looks like Eight can kill people a different way now." He gave Crooks an evil glare, but ruffled my hair. Cage came over and hugged me.

  "I'm happy you're okay." I gasped.

 "You talked!" Everyone laughed and I was pulled into another group hug. This is what it felt like to be loved and missed, and for once in my life, appreciated for all the right reasons.

Shelly burped and laughed really loud. "And then and then the b-bird, *hiccup* i-it like." She fell to the ground laughing really hard. I couldn't help but laugh with her. Johnny smiled and picked her up.

 "Come on Shelly Buns, let's get you home." She stood, leaning against the wall.

 "What nooo! B-but Celine is here and I looove her!" She slurred. I smiled and patted her head.

  "I love you too Shelly and it's okay I'll be here tomorrow." She shook her head no and tripped, but Johnny caught her.

 "But I want to be here nooow." I smiled and Johnny picked her up before giving me another quick hug and leaving. I shook my head laughing and looked at the rest of the guys.

 "Well, looks like the party's over since the entertainment is gone," Crooks said. I smacked his arm and he shrugged giving me the: "we were all thinking it" look. I rolled my eyes as the guys left, all giving me hugs. Pierce stayed behind and looked me over. I did a few poses and he laughed.

 "Like what you see?" I gave him a small wink and blew him a kiss. He laughed and hugged me again tighter. "Let's go for a walk." I nodded and hooked my arm through his and let him lead me out to the courtyard.

 The fountain and flowers were really pretty at night. I looked around amazed at the beauty of it all. "Wow," I said getting lost in the sight.

 "Celine," Pierce said. I looked up at him and he had this serious look on his face and he wouldn't look at me.

 "What's wrong?" I said pushing some hair out of his face.  He looked at me and opened his mouth to say something but closed it. "Dustin?" He turned away from me then turned back.

 "Celine, I've been meaning to tell you for a while..." I waited for him to finish but he didn't say anything. "It'll probably be a lot easier to show you than tell you." I nodded waiting for him to show me whatever it was. He stepped closer to me this determine look in his eyes and pushed my hair behind my ear. His hand cupped my cheek and he leaned in closer. I stepped back away from him and rubbed my hand through my hair. "Dustin." He wasn't looking at me.

 "I've had a crush on you since forever, and when I moved here, I thought it wasn't meant to be. Then you showed up, and I mean, I thought this was my chance." I frowned.

 "Dus-" He held up his hand.

 "Is this because of Arsen? Because if it is, the guy is an asshole Celine. I came up to the hospital everyday to see you and he didn't come by once! It's his fault you were there in the first place!" I tried to stay calm, but my anger was flaring.

 "You can NOT go there Dustin! You knew what my dad was like and you came there that morning and saw how shaken up I was and yet you sit here complaining about me liking Arsen?! You have no right!" He stopped and glared at me.

  "You like him?!" I thought back to the last few things I had said and realized that I did say it and I did mean it.

  "Yes and you have no right to judge him." He scoffed.

 "I've known him way longer than you have Celine!" I returned his glare with mine.

 "Well, I've known you way longer than anyone else in my entire life and you're just now showing yourself as an asshole!" I stormed off and he reached for my arm, but I snatched it back. "Leave me alone." He let me go and I walked back to the dorm. Inside, Arsen was sitting on the couch head on his knees. His head popped up when he heard the door slam.

 "Celine?" He said. I blushed under his look and remembered what Pierce had said, making me clench my fist.

  "Hey. Long time no see," I said, walking over to him. He stood before I got there and walked around the table avoiding me. I tried to hide the hurt in my eyes. "Is everything okay?" He nodded and began walking in his room.

  "I hope you're happy with Pierce, he's a good guy." I frowned, but he had already closed the door.
