"No thanks," Says my friend, Soohyeon, through the phone.
"Please? It's a masquerade, we get to wear eye masks?? Cool right??" I say this to her in an effort to get her to come along with me since I do not want to go by myself.
"No,"
"Please, I don't want to go alone. You're the only one I can ask to join." I say this in a genuine manner.
The line gradually falls into silence. On the other line, Sooheyon ponders it over and, considering that what I said was sincere, she eventually agrees.
"Alright then. I don't want to interact with anyone else. Let's stay at one table." A long and audible sigh can be heard coming from the speaker.
"Thank you. We will meet later then,"

In the end, I was able to get a dress that fits the description on the card.
It is a mermaid-style dress with a white and gold colour combination.
It took me two hours to track down this dress, so I really hope it will work out for me.
