1st Battalion United Nations Special Expeditionary Force
Forward Operating Base, Nova Roanoke

Maybe his job may be strange, maybe it may seem ridiculous, but hey, its something. Right now, Ramirez is currently handling the kid, Lana, that he seemed to reasonably grown attached to and protective over. Maybe its because its a kid who lost her parents, maybe because she reminds him of his sister when she was young. Who knows.

What is known is this, ever since that Ramirez saved the little kid from those Reunion members, he and the girl has formed a mutual platonic bond, similar to that of a Elder Brother and Younger sister. How the rest of Hunter 2-1 is taking it? Well...

"You- Nah you are not serious... NO YOU ARE NOT!" Dunn yelled out as he roared into laughter, followed by Jonathon who banged the table he was sitting at and gripped the bottle end of his drink tightly. Dunn seemed to have fallen to the floor as he was rolling in laughter.

"Awh my god I'm in TEARS!" Ramirez, holding the kid like a man would his toddler, just shook his head and moved away, "Fu-fudging..." he then runs into Foley, who just pats the man on the shoulder.

"You got a lot of responsibility on you now, take care," Foley said, quickly, as he began to walk away. "And good luck," he quickly added.

"Thanks Sergeant," Ramirez called back, as he noticed a sticky note on his arm. He reads it and he inhales sharply, P.S. Carmen is now preparing to tell your family a story about you and the kid.

Dropping the sticky, and holding the kid on tight, he began to run, "Oh HELL no she isn't!" Lana's tail began to wag in excitement, thinking that Ramirez was playing a game, when in actuality he was not about to let his younger sister tell an exaggerated story of how he got the kid.

Just a moment too late, as his sister had finished sending an email to his family, causing Ramirez to groan in annoyance. Carmen, just smirked and stuck her tongue at him. Ramirez takes a deep breath, as he gives his helmet to Lana for her to wear as Ramirez gets a console, "Alright Sis... Game on." Sensing the challenge, Carmen gets the controllers.

"Let's settle this like civilized people."

7 different squads are going out, all of them mechanized and to repeat what they have done to the base they just fucked last night. Rinse and repeat, maybe switch around the assault directions. It shouldn't be too hard, and it shouldn't be too much.

Ramirez was able to come along for the ride now, however he had to unfortunately bring the kid along. Carmen was coo'ing and fussing over the little Lupo Girl. Turns out people with animal features is... normal on this planet. Hell there is a race of people that are practically gun-loving Angels and even "demonic"-esque characters.

Now that'll be a fun one to explain to the Religious folks.

Lana let out another round of laughter, causing Ramirez to look back and chuckle at the sight. Foley checked his mirror and GPS system, which is only being held up by drones and whatever satellites are above at the moment, before looking back at the others parking just before their vehicle went over hill. "Alright folks, listen up," Carmen was still gently petting and tickling Lana, but she focused her attention on Foley, "A few of the pods are almost hear earlier on schedule than we would like, so we must act now. This base right here is the approximate landing zone. Hopefully some spooks are onboard so we can interrogate the figure we captured."

Dunn scoffed as looked at the map that is referencing the base, "Spooks, don't really trust em, but when we need 'em, we need 'em." He checks his M5 as Foley began to get the LATV-4 into drive again. The soft hun of the engine being calming, near relaxing as Carmen passes Lana back to Ramirez. Lana seemed to be falling asleep, and Ramirez gulped when he felt her heart rate slow to sleeping levels. In response, he grabs a pair of noise cancelling headphones, and puts them on her ears.
