"Democratic Interrogative"

Pvt. James Ramirez
December 22th, Earth Time, 2055
October 23th, Terra Time, 1097
Washington D.C.

Ramirez has a few things to confess.

In all of his time alive, even after being exposed to the internet, the magazines, and all of the things around the world.

He has, despite it all, never, and he means never...

Seen something has adorable as Amiya in a little dress.

Most of them opted to atleast look a bit more presentable than they usually appear, using their much nicer clothing or clothing that they would wear in more polite company.  The U.S. Government had apparently sent out a message explaining the exchange rate for LMD and U.S. Dollars, and it was a brief, 10 second update for most devices to accept the new income.

With that in mind, with the first meeting happening in the afternoon, Amiya wanted to get her dress after they, of course, settled their stuff into a Government designated inn.

Amiya's little dress was so adorable and complementary of her that made even Carmen gush over how adorable it was.

The cautus pulled on the Collar of dress that she brought, which comfortably complemented her jacket. She looks at Dobermann and Nearl, who had to hide their smiles. Blaze was being restrained by Ace and Dunn to not coddle the little Bunny CEO.

Foley just gave a thumbs up.

Lana was holding a little toy that she materialized in her sleep. Ramirez didn't know what it was, because much of the language he WAS teaching her was not sufficient in her being able to describe it.

Although it did roughly look like a polar bear-panda hybrid, he's sure that is not what it is in actuality.

A little gulp was heard from Amiya, walking around Washington D.C. just for a little bit of Fresh Air.

The City had gone through a major renovation and restoration, after a few hurricanes struck it in 2031 and 2034, the city being a bit more barricaded against such natural disasters. Engineers had fully reworked the pump systems that keep Washington from reverting back into a literal Swamp. Buildings had gotten a full make over, matching the rising American aesthetic of Modernism and somewhat matching - what some may consider - pre-war Fallout America.

The Urban and Financial District had gotten significantly larger, with some apartment complexes and significantly more buildings. Staying below the legal limit that is required by law in Washington D.C.

The urban sprawl of the city was much more noticeable these days, the city near doubling in size since 2022.

Foley was being a bit of a tour guide, slowly explaining the history of the city, how it was established to ensure the balance of power between the old North and the old South. He didn't want to elaborate further, because Ramirez wants them to learn that dark end of history on their own.

Exusiai ALREADY did learn about it, in her own free time, but she was going to wait till the others learn about it to explain things.

Soon, they began to reach an area that seems to be a big row, only broken by what looks like a great pool of water that seems to rectangularly stretch all the way to the distance. Dunn was joking with Ace about a few things, when Blaze had to stop them. Ace looked down at her and raised an eyebrow, fixing his sunglasses, "What's wrong?"

Wordlessly, she pointed off across the water, and Dunn recognized what it was.

A great tall pillar, a marble white, stood far in the distance. It reached high, and was surrounded by a whole array and ring of Flags. And judging by their mostly blue design, they were the state flags. Foley chuckled, "Off in that direction, is where we have to go," he then pointed somewhere behind the Washington Monument.
