Elizabeth (Betty) and Julien had dated for years. The two of them met freshman year in college and planned to marry each other one day. But when Julien's music career picked up, their relationship took a turn for the worse. Julien focused a lot of her attention on her solo music and her contribution to her band with her two best friends Lucy and Phoebe. Before the first Boygenius tour, Julien decided to break off their five-year relationship. Betty was left heartbroken and fell into a dangerous down spiral. Her best friend Gracie worried for her as she watched her friend not only physically but mentally deteriorate. Betty was forced to get help, which saved her and helped her realize that she was okay with being alone. But years later, Betty has to see Julien when she finds out Boygenius is playing a show near her. What she didn't know was that Julien wanted her back. Regretting the past and how she threw away their relationship. But would Betty take her back? Would it even work?
