Dolce's gone for one year today.
It went by so fast.

One year. That's insane.
If I hadn't met Matt, I think that would be my breaking point.
Damn, it's Christmas in a month.
My first Christmas in my new house, without Dolce.
I zoned out but got snapped out of it when my phone was buzzing.
Matt was calling me.
"Hey." I heard from the other side of the line after I picked up.
"Hi." I said.
"I saw your insta post." Matt said, I stayed quiet.
"Do you want me to come over?" Matt asked me.
"No, it's okay. I would rather be alone. Sorry." I said quietly.
"Okay. That's fine, I get that. Don't let it get to you too much, please." Matt said.
"I won't. I love you, bye." I nodded.
"I love you too June." Matt said.
I hung up and I just cried for the whole day.
Someone knocked on my door and I was confused, I didn't invite anyone.
Maybe it's Matt.
I stood up from my bed and went to my front door.
I wiped my eyes and opened my door.
