MAXINE WALKED UP the stairs to the main floor, yawning as she does so. she was welcomed by the bright lights of the kitchen, rubbing her eyes.
"hey there pretty girl." brady wrapped an arm around her waist when she was close, maxine leaned into his touch and laid her head on his.
since he was sitting down and she was standing, she was taller than him. "good morning." she greeted him.
"how was your sleep?" brady asked her, looking at her face. he had that soft smile on his face.
"it was good." she nodded, sitting down beside him. maxine scoots the chair closer to him, brady putting his hand on her knee.
"do you want to do something today or have a rest day?"
"let's do something!" they only really had a week to do stuff together, both wanted to make a this week unforgettable.
brady agrees and they both eat breakfast together, sharing jokes and laughing non-stop.
