Chapter Seven - Keefe's pov -

Arriving at the amusement park, Keefe, Sophie, and the twins got out of his car and overlooked the grand funfair. The whole car ride there was tense with anticipation, and now that they had arrived, Keefe was shaking with anxiety. Of course he loved amusement parks, he'd heard about all the times The Fitzer had gone to them. He had never gone with his family though - but that didn't matter. Today was the day he would tell Sophie how he felt. Even if she can't date him, he needed to get it out. The sleepover a couple weeks back had confirmed his love and he was anxious to tell her. This'll probably ruing our friendship. Grady does have that rule... Maybe I should just give it up. He countered back.

"EEEK!" Linh screamed, knocking him out of his thoughts "Tam! We're finally here! We're at an amusement park!"

The Song's never went out and did fun family activities. Tam and Linh's parents were almost as bad as Keefe's own and they abandoned them to live on their own for years. He could relate so much to them and their struggles. Yet, Bangs boy didn't seem to like him. Well he didn't either-

Tam chuckled and warmly smiled. "Yes sister, we're here."

Keefe was surprised at the out of character moment for Tam, and chuckled while watching Sophie go hug them and say "We're gonna have a great time!"

"Yes we are Foster!" He joined in pumping his fists into the air. "C'mon guys, lets go find the others." He announced before leading the way in a march. Aside from Foster-Crush issue, he was gonna enjoy this day with his friends.

He noticed her glancing up at the towering Ferris Wheel and gasping in awe. Looking over at the spinning rides and carnival games, she brought out her phone and took many pictures. Oh right, I promised Edaline. He thought for a second before shaking his head. Nah Foster'll take care of 'em.

"Omg you guys are finally here!" Biana yelled, waving her arms.

As the group approached Biana, Fitz, Marella, and Dex they all celebrated in excitement.

"This is like the best day ever!" Dex yelled. "Look at those rides! All that machinery and structure!"

"We get that you're a nerdy geek Dex, but it's an amusement park for goodness sake!" Marella joked.

They all laughed and headed inside to buy their tickets for the rides.

"Ugh Fitzy, why did you make the budget ONLY $500." Keefe whined and leaned on Sophie dramatically. It wasn't on purpose, but he did grin when he noticed her blushing.

"Keefe, these things are expensive. We can't blow all our money on it."

"Yeah, butttttttt" Keefe started. The over dramatic whining might have been unnecessary, but that's all part of the job as the group Jokester.

"No but's"

"Ugh fineee. C'mon Foster lets go spend some of our own money." He said turning to her. Maybe this'll be my chance. He thought.

"Sure Keefe, but what about the others?" She replied

"Eh, they're fine." He shrugged.

"Let's split up a bit then." Marella suggested.

"I call Fitz and Dex!" Biana announced, hooking her arms through her brother and Dex's elbows.

"I'll stay with Marella and Tam" Linh offered, hugging her best friend and brother.

"Perfect, me and Foster!" Keefe grinned.

Sophie rolled her brown eyes playfully and said, "Let's meet up at the Ferris Wheel in an hour."

Once everyone agreed, they each went their separate ways. Keefe and Sophie went to spend their tickets on games. Biana, Fitz, and Dex went to the rides. Tam, Linh, and Marella went to go eat food. (Marella's Idea).
