107: The Parents

"Just one, I need space for later" I tell Sam.

"Okay" He hands me a hot dog with ketchup.

"Thank you" I walk away and sit by Paul.

"Are you cold?" He asks.

"No I'm good" I smile.

"Who wants hot chocolate" Emily comes out.

"Me!" Jared and I say very excited.

"Anyone else?"

"I'll take one too" Embry speaks up.

"Ok" She goes back inside.

"This is nice" Embry tells me.

"Wait until there's more of us" Sam looks back at us.

"Why?" He asks.

"We'll be able to gather and hear about our tribes legends" He says.

"Cool" Jared smirks.

"How until more turn?" I ask Paul on the way to his house.

"Not sure, but with that leech hanging around maybe soon" He says annoyed.

"Do your parents know nothing about this?"

"No, my dad might not even have the gene"

"Oh" I look forward. "I hope they like me"

"Don't worry they will" He smiles.

"Okay" I fix my hair as we pull into his house.

"Stop it you're fine" He chuckles and parks.

"Do I smell like fire?" I ask.

"No" He sprays his cologne on me. "But you do smell like me"

"Awesome" I get out of the car.

"Let's go" He walks and I walk behind him.

At this point I'm shaking. I don't know if I'm nervous or scared to meet the people that leave their son alone all year long.

"They are here!" I hear a woman as we walk into the house. "You must be Y/n" she walks towards us.

She is very beautiful. Honey brown eyes with beautiful long brown hair. She was wearing black heels with a white skirt that reached her lower knee and a cute blue sweater.

"That's me" I smile and Paul starts taking off the jacket I had on.

"It's so nice to me you" She pulls me in for a hug.

"It's nice to meet you as well Mrs. Lahote" I give in to the embrace.

"Please call me Nelly" She rubs my back. "Oh my god Paul, she's more beautiful than you described her" she pulls me away and spins me around.

"Thank you" I get shy and step back.

"Stop it mom"

"What? I'm just complementing her" She smiles at me. "Paul's dad should be coming down soon.. he's finishing a business call"

"No worries" I smile. "Anything I can help with?"
