"God, Tessa. It's cause I actually have a life. Plus it was late. " I rolled my eyes, walking near the school fountain.
"No. You guys didn't..."
"God no Tessa! I'm an innocent child! I would never on a first date!" I giggle.
"Speaking of the date, Jace Flynn and his man clique coming behind you." Laila interrupted, joining the conversation.
But before I could say anything back, a pair of arms I could only recognize as Jace's wrapped around my waist. His chin resting on my shoulder.
"Oh my god, you are so clićhe." I playfully roll my eyes at him.
"So I can't put my arms around my girlfriend?" He smirks.
"I'm your girlfriend now?" I smile, raising my eyebrow.
"No, you're a stranger to me." He laughs, quickly kissing my cheek. "I just wanted to say hi before you get to your class. I'll see you later Cas."
"Kay. Don't get in any trouble." I smile.
"I can't guarantee that, princess." He laughs.
By now I can't handle myself and I feel I'm gonna bounce off the walls. My smile is so wide, my lips feel like their gonna rip.
That's probably unhealthy.
But as Jace walks away, I catch a certain someone's glare. A certain someone I completely sorta forgot about.
