Third person's POV

Today was the day for retaliation for the boys and it's been a long time coming. The bell rang for lunch and students filed out of lecture halls, going to their lockers and heading for the cafeteria.

Aiden connected his phone to the big screen and waited for 'The A Team' to make their appearance. After about ten minutes, they enter the cafeteria and he presses play...

Xavier lets out a piercing whistle, cutting off the A Team's conversation and gains the whole cafeteria's attention. Everyone turns to look at him but he just steps aside and the big screen comes into view.

Alina, Riley, Thea and Jason stood frozen, wide eyes glued to the screen which happens to be playing a video of the previous night's dance marathon, specifically Riley's impeccably bad dancing. When the video comes to an end everyone in the cafeteria is howling with laughter and looking at them.

'Oh my God, you have got to be kidding me?' Alina thought as she turned to look at Riley's shocked face and then looked towards the direction in which the culprits were standing with massive shit-eating grins on their faces.

Riley fixes a glare on her mate and his grin starts to slip, realizing he may have just got himself in trouble yet again. Her wolf growled, taking a hit in her pride and she was just about to stomp over there and give him a piece of her mind when Ali held her back, mind-linking her to cool it, reminding her that they had in fact challenged them and they were well within their right to get back at them.

Riley lets out a breath and sends the guys a saccharine grin, knowing they had to law low until Friday so they don't get suspicious, "Well played boys, well played, but is this all you've got? How disappointing," she drawls as they walk towards them.

Xavier shoots Alina a look and knew it wasn't the end of it when all she did was wink and sit down at their table next to him, stealing a fry off his tray. It's about to get real interesting and just a matter of time.

Alina's POV:

This week was rather eventful and classes kept us busy for most of it but thankfully the week was over and we could breathe a little, there's just a few more months until graduation and then it'll all be over.

Throughout the week, we got the boys worked up, messing with their heads and had them second guessing every action. I'm sure they're just about ready to crack and call it quits, but no, my Alpha mate would never back down that easily and I admire that very much.

We all met up at the pack house today after classes because dad wants my team to do a border patrol before the party. "Ok let's get going guys! Time is of the essence," I holler with a bit too much enthusiasm.

The team consists of the 'A Team' and a few of Riley's cousins, as back up. We walk outside and head for the trees to get undressed and shift into our wolves and start patrolling the pack's territory borders.

My wolf was pure white with icy- blue eyes and was built like an Alpha male: strong, big and lean muscled - quite odd for a female, even one with Alpha blood but I never thought much about the difference and considered it an advantage. My pure white coat was also very rare in the werewolf world, there hasn't been a pure white wolf born in centuries. There are many tales and history books that speak about the powers they possessed, having the ability to control the elements. Frankly, I think they're just kids' bedtime stories because if it were true, I would be living proof of that and yet here I am, still powerless. But I have to admit though, it would have been awesome if I could.

Thea's wolf was grey with a few white patches on her back and has sea-green eyes while Jason's wolf was grey with black patches on his back and has emerald eyes. Riley's wolf was an auburn with hazel eyes just like Riley's human form.

Once we made sure nothing was out of the ordinary and the borders secure, we decided to head to a small clearing by a waterfall to let our wolves play and relax a little before the party. It was just over the border and rested at the edge of Blood Moon pack territory.

We all flopped onto our bellies and soon as we reached the clearing and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, lapping at the water, our wolves roughhousing like pups. It was rather a rather peaceful afternoon. Lilly's grew all around us and the water from the waterfall tasted refreshing. Rhia was just about to go play in the water when the bush next to us rustled and out came three huge and very familiar wolves.

Alex's wolf is a dark, cinnamon brown with matching brown eyes while Aiden's wolf is dark grey with lighter grey patches covering his ears and the tip of his tail with eyes of pure silver. They rush over to Serana and Lexia with happy yips and I lock eyes with the biggest one, Xavier. Over the years I had forgotten what his wolf was like. He was midnight black and had unique golden-orange eyes, unlike anything I've ever seen before in a wolf. They were mesmerizing and pulled me into a cocoon of warmth. He was gorgeous.

He gave me a wolfy grin and trotted towards me. I was surprised when his wolf licked my muzzle in affection. Xavier's enchanting woodsy-pine scent filled my nostrils and melted into him. Rhia let out a happy bark and licked his face, nuzzling his neck and he playfully growls at her, nipping her ear. 'His name is Rhys,' Rhia tells me with pure adoration. Rhys. Xavier and Rhys, my mate, all mine.

Our wolves couldn't have been happier to meet each other through this form, as this form drew more on their animalistic nature. As wolves do, Rhys and Rhia decided to play around a bit to get a feel for one another in this form and also test each other a bit, using a bit of training.

Rhys and Rhia stood eye to eye with one another, I could see that Rhys had a very excited look in his eye and I couldn't help but chuckle in fond amusement. They began circling us, waiting for us to bite the bait. Rhia saw how they were using their front paws more, so in a quick decision, she attacked first, going for his hind legs. Clearly, they were expecting that and managed to maneuver out of the way. Unpleased, Rhia growled at her mate and tried to one-up him again to which he dodged. After a while they decided to attack first, attempting to go for our underbelly, sensing this, we managed to roll out of the way. It was like that for a while, this constant push and pull between us and whatever he did I managed to give it right back. We weren't about to let them win. A loud whistle caught my attention and I turned sharply, which gave them the perfect opportunity to pin us down. Ugh! I tried to snap and fight him off and as they snarled and playfully bit to submit, we stood in defiance. Eventually I managed to kick him and roll us over. We were both getting tired and we didn't want to waste all our energy as we had the party tonight and besides, I had some big plans to execute, so we just called it a draw.

After our play fighting, they muzzled us in pride and pulled us to curl up against them. We laid together, our wolves licking and nuzzling each other. As the sky started to become darker, I mind linked my team and told them to start heading back. Just as Rhys brushed my side I leaped up from my sitting position, surprising him as he stepped away, and made a dash towards my pack house. I knew I'd see him at the party and a newfound excitement rushed through my body at the prospect.
