Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, and Lloyd use their Elemental Dragons to capture a Fangfish that had been terrorizing a nearby village. They are successful in their efforts, and return to the coastal village where Aria was sleeping on a tree.
"Aria!" Kai shouted, Aria jumped and fell off the tree, Lloyd held his arms out and caught her with ease.
"thanks sweetie" Aria smiled
Lloyd shook his head and placed her down.
"You were sleeping while we had to take care of that thing" Jay said annoyed
"I'm tired" Aria shrugged
"Good job out there by the way Lloyd, you've grown into a great leader" Kai congratulated Lloyd
"I'm not so sure about that, without my dad to guide me i'm not sure what's going to happen" Lloyd said
"Don't worry i'll take care of you, I promise" Kai said putting his arm around his shoulders
Aria pouted and grabbed onto Lloyd's arm "Llllloooyyyydddd"
"What?" Lloyd questioned
"Attention" Aria said pulling on his arm
He rubbed her head "alright alright"
A photographer takes a picture of the Ninja and the fish, using it as proof that they caught it. They pose in front of the Fangfish, though Zane accidentally orders the photographer back too many steps, and ends up falling into the Endless Sea.
The Ninja head to Wu's new tea shop, Steep Wisdom. There, they are met by Wu himself and ordered into Ninjago City to hand out flyers promoting the shop. Believing that they have come to rely too much on their powers, Wu prohibits the Ninja from using them to promote the store. Before they can leave however, Misako receives a call from the Museum, requesting Lloyd.
"Do you want me to go with you?" Aria asked
"nah It'll be fine princess, keep an eye on the other ninja for me, keep them out of trouble" Lloyd said before kissing her forehead
"You can count on me" Aria smiled
The four Ninja are hopeless in their efforts, as they attempt to hand out the flyers to the citizens.
"Come on guy's try harder" Aria shouts from the roof of a building
Aria held out her spell book and started reading "Dragon brave and Dragon wise, let nothing escape your eyes. I summon your from your hidden lair, but small and still aware"
Next to her appeared Midnight but small and cute.

"Midnight here" Aria said patting her lap, Midnight moved onto her lap and laid down.
Eventually, the ninja decide to ignore Master Wu's demands to not use their elemental powers to accomplish the task, but they do so anyway, much to the enjoyment of the civilians.
Suddenly, a strong wind blows through the city, sending people fleeing, and ridding the Ninja of their elemental powers for some reason. Aria and midnight teleported down to the ninja.
"our elemental powers are gone" Cole said
"Mine aren't" Aria said pointing to midnight
"I don't get it" Kai said scratching his head
Astonished and confused, the Ninja head back to see Master's tea shop, which has its first customers. The Ninja frantically explained to Master about what's happened to them.
Wu gasped "That means Lloyd-"
"Lloyd what" Aria questioned worried
Lloyd arrived but he didn't seem like himself, he seemed, darker.
"That's not Lloyd" Wu said "Aria hold him off while we get the civilians out of here"
"why me!" Aria shouted
"because you're the only one that has an elemental power right now, and because i'm your master and i said so" Wu said before running into the shop
"we're coming with you don't worry" Kai said
The Ninja confront the ghost general outside of the shop, fighting him as hard as they can, but to no avail, as he swiftly overwhelms them.
"Aria do something" Jay said
"Aria come on" Cole said
"do something" Zane said
"Aria!" Kai shouted
"I CAN'T" Aria yelled
"What!!!" The ninja shouted
Misako rides off with the customers, while Master Wu and Nya board the Bounty.
Seeing they cannot defeat Morro or save Lloyd at that time, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Aria board the Bounty as well. Kai initially stays to try and help Lloyd, but is forced to board the Bounty by his fellow Ninja.
Nya struggles to get the Bounty moving, but Morro drags it back towards him using large gusts of wind. Finally, Nya manages to break the Bounty free of the wind, and it flies off, leaving an infuriated Morro behind.
"What just happened and what happened to our friend!" Jay shouted
"you were not my first students" Wu started
"Technically I was" Aria said
"hush Aria" Wu said "my second student was Morro, the elemental master of wind"
"Sensei, it looks like your master of wind has caught his second wind" Nya said
At that moment, Morro approaches the Bounty as he flies a ghostly dragon through the sky, much to the Ninjas' horror.

"Princess"
"Morro you're back" Aria got up from the couch and ran over to him
"what are you doing still awake" Morro hugged her
"I'm 5, I'm a big girl" Aria declaired
Morro chuckled and picked her up "bed time little one"
"But Morro Sensei said I could watch tv" Aria pouted
"When you're older you can stay up with me and watch all the tv you want ok" Morro said
"Promise?" Aria said holding out her pinky
Morro smiled and wrapped his pinky around hers "promise"
