Crying echoed the halls of the demon realm's palace. It was December 25th, maids ran around the castle and finally an announcement was made.
"The princess was born!"
The demons cheered and celebrated the dark princess's birth. Inside the castle The Overlord and Garmadon stood next to their wives and watched the two newborn babies reach out to each other.
"Look they're already bonding" Misako said happily
"Garmadon, if anything ever happens to me or my wife I hope you and Misako make sure our little princess is taken care of" The Overlord said
"Of course, even without elemental powers i'm sure Lloyd will protect her as well" Garmadon said
The Overlord looked at Lloyd "right"
"One day Wu might try to destroy you, your human form" Garmadon said
The Overlord nodded "I know, I just want to see my daughter grow up"
"Oh Misako the rings are being made" Layla said
"They're being made of gold and a secret gem, it's to symbolize light and darkness" The Overlord explained
"why a secret gem?" Garmadon questioned
"because it's the best kind" The Overlord replied
"We better get going, we'll see you soon" Misako said picking up Lloyd
He and Aria both started crying
"aw it looks like they don't want to leave each other" Layla said picking up Lloyd
"they're connected by a special bond" The Overlord said sadly "that can't be broken"
