I looked before me to see two colossal, muscular men with a hold on Logan. I stared at the scene unfolding in front of my eyes and I was dumbfounded.

I began to feel extremely frightened and my eyes had become wide. My heart was beating so loudly, I was almost afraid they'd hear it...but at least I was safe from Logan for now.

I didn't even want to think of what these two intimidating men would do to me if they got the chance.

I lay in the dingy alleyway, gripping my chest and breathing heavily from the shock of it all.

Both of the men had tattoos all over their bodies, one with a large skull on his neck, while the other had two full tattoo sleeves down his arms.

The man with the skull tattoo had long hair, tied up into a bun whilst the other had his shorter blonde hair flopping across his forehead.

They looked furious and I was terrified of what they were about to do, although they paid no attention to me sat on the ground in front of them. They were a lot more interested in Logan.

"Where's the fucking money you scumbag?" the one with the bun screamed at Logan, whilst pressing him against the wall with just a single fist.

Money? What money?

He must've been incredibly strong if he was lifting a 6'2" man against a wall with one hand. I'd never seen Logan look so weak, he was stuttering at the man profusely with tears forming in his eyes.

"I-I don't have it. B-but I'll find it s-soon." Logan stammered.

"We gave you 3 months of extension and you still don't have it?" the other stranger screamed, getting closer to his face.

"N-no."

"You know what this means don't you Logan?" the man with the bun laughed devilishly.

"N-no p-please, I'll do anything." Logan begged.

"We don't accept beggars." one of them spat. "We gave you time and now you've run out."

"N-no pleas-"

A gunshot rang out through the alleyway.

I cupped my mouth with my hand, in shock at the sight before me. I shuffled back, pushing myself as close to the wall as possible and brought my knees to my chest, unsure of what to do.

There's no use in running, I don't want to get on these guys' bad side.

"Now, now, what do we have here?" the blonde guy asked rhetorically, crouching down to my level and staring me straight in the eye.

"I'm sorry lady but we can't risk snitches...say goodnight."

He took the shotgun out from his back pocket effortlessly and stood up, pointing it straight at me.

I held my hand against my chest, trying to comprehend what the hell just happened in the last 5 minutes, staring up at the man who was about to pull the trigger and end my life.

Just like he ended Logan's.

I'm about to die. My life is over before it's even begun.

But then I heard a thundering voice from the end of the alleyway. I turned my head to the side and saw a tall silhouette of a man standing in the distance.

"Stop! Stand down." he boomed.

"But she-" the blonde one began.

"I told you to retreat. So do it." he ordered as he started to walk towards us.
