Caroline's POV

Lindest sir...it is rumored you fought
in King Richard's Crusade with my beloved son Robin.

I fear you have returned home to desperate times when dark forces plot against our absent King.

I am anxious for word of my son. Were you present at his capture near Jerusalem?

Do you know which potentate holds him?

A Iittle news, please, sir.

I would give all I own for his release.

I quietly entered Uncle's office to see him writing a letter. "Oh, Caroline!" Uncle Malcolm looked up as he noticed me. "I hope I don't disturb you." I said as I noticed his concern about writing the letter. "No..it's just, I'm trying reach any single news about Robin but it looks hopeless." He admitted with a sigh. My heart dropped. "Hopeless? But...but Robin is still alive, right? You know he is." I tried bring the positive light on the whole situation although deep down I was worried to death.

"You're right, he..he can handle himself more than just well, it's just my worrying. He will sooner or later return." Uncle Malcolm tried for a smile, pointing me to take a seat. "Exactly, he can shot better than anyone, we have nothing to worry about." I smiled, having Robin and our memories on my mind. "But how have you been? All good?" Uncle suddenly asked me. "Yeah...nothing special, just any regular day." I lied. The last thing Uncle needed to find out was me sneaking into forest and saving Sheriff of Nottingham there.

"Uncle?" I suddenly asked. "Yes, dear?" Uncle looked up from the letter. "I just...as I'm 20 now, I was wondering if I will finally leave the mansion. I know you said to me many times how dangerous the world is but sometimes I feel as a prisoner. I have no friends, I don't even have idea how the town looks like. If only I could leave...just for a day I could leave and see the surroundings.." I tried my best to put it together to make Uncle finally agree but he instantly refused. "Never. You have no idea how dangerous world is. You're here because here you are safe."

"But Uncle I'm 20, I can't be stuck here forever! Don't you think it's crazy enough that I never left our mansion? This isn't life!" I exclaimed, little disappointed how loud I turned out to be. "I'm sorry, it's just..this all...I don't even know properly who I am. You never told me a word about my parents or where I come from. All I know they are dead and they demanded you to keep me safe and locked away from the world. But why, Uncle? There sure is reason, why can't you say it? I deserve truth.."

For a while I could swear he was about to finally answer me something but then I heard someone trying to break in the office. "Help! Help me!" We instantly turned at the door. "I'm sorry you were disturbed, master." Our servant Duncan brought an old man in the tower. "It's all right. Let him go." My Uncle said. "They've taken my Gwen. My daughter!" The man shouted. "Who, sir?" I asked. "Men! On horses. In masks. We tried to stop them, my lady! My son...is dead!" My eyes were full fear and uncertainty. "What men..?"
