Alexandra was given three weeks 'till she was to be turned. Aro, as leader of the coven, was going to be the one to turn her, not Alec. Alexandra seemed to be a bit hesitant and scared around Alec, but I could see she did have admiration for him. Every time I walked past her; Alec was there. He would not let her out of his sight. Similar to how my mates are around me when they have free time, but Alec was more overprotective since she's still human.

Chelsea, Heidi, Jane, and I were going outside of the castle walls today since it was a rainy day and there was word that there was going to be a ball to celebrate my arrival in the next coming month. My mates did way too much for me. It was romantic but a bit overwhelming.

"My Lady?" I hear Jane say outside of my door. "We're ready to leave."

I put my contacts in and open the door. "Perfect. Let's go."

When we got to a tailor shop in Florence, I was immediately dragged inside by an excited Chelsea. "Chelsea!" I giggle.

"Sorry, my Lady, I, well we, just haven't had a ball in such a long time! The last time we had a ball was when--"

I tilt my head. "Well, go on. Since when was the last time a ball was hosted?"

"Um..." Chelsea stammers.

"What she means to say, my Lady, is when we defeated the werewolves. We hosted a ball to celebrate." Heidi says.

"Ah, okay." Heidi was lying. There was no ball held after the eradication of werewolves. I let it go, not willing it to ruin the shopping trip. "Shall we?" I gesture towards the tailors who were standing patiently.

Chelsea jumped up and down. "Yes!" she shrieked.

Jane rolls her eyes at Chelsea's behavior.

"Well, let's get to it." I giggle.

I walk to the tailor with my companions and the tailors immediately goes into action, taking each of us to measure our bodies and asking for the vision of our dress. I tell the tailor mine and she nods. "The price of the dress will be $82k and will be here in a month. Two weeks before the ball. The due date of the money will be the day it comes in. Good day."

I thank her and meet Jane, Chelsea, and Heidi at the exit. Chelsea and Heidi were talking excitedly about the ball and their dresses while Jane kept rolling her eyes. She did not like going to balls. "Ready, girls?" I ask.

"I suppose." Heidi sighs. "It's not common for us to go out that much. Especially with multiple people."

Chelsea nods.

"I know." I say. "Where is our ride?"

"Right there, my Lady." Jane says as a black limousine makes its way towards us. Felix stops the car in front of us, with its side facing us. Felix gets out.

"Sorry, girls, found a bloodsinger. He was delicious." Felix says, licking his lips.

"Shh!" Jane shushes. "Do you want humans to hear you?"

"My apologizes, Jane." Felix says. "Well, let's go. The masters are waiting for Lady Amity to return. They've been getting anxious every minute that has passed since she left."

I roll my eyes. "Of course, they have. Men, I swear." I get in the limousine.

"I know right!" Chelsea says. "Afton has texted me two-hundred times since we've left! What about you?"

"I left my flip-phone in my office. There's probably a thousand." I laugh.

"So, how was the shopping?" asks Felix as he drives us back to Volterra.

"Wonderful!"

"Splendid!"

"It was nice."

"Horrible."

The last one came from Jane and we all laughed. "It's only horrible cause you don't like balls, Jane. I saw you smile as you exited the measuring room. You just don't like the idea of balls. You love shopping just as the three of us do." Heidi points out.

Within the hour, due to Felix's fast driving and low traffic, we reach Volterra and park in the underground parking lot. I step out and my mates are there with their hands clasped behind them. "Amity!" Aro greets me. "You've returned! How was the trip?"

I kiss his cheek and do the same to Marcus and Caius before replying. "It was nice. My dress should be coming a week before the ball."

"Splendid!" Aro grins. "May we?" He lends out his arm and I take it as he leads me back into the castle.

"You didn't respond to our texts, love." Caius tells me.

I turn my head towards him as I am being led to Aro's office and simply say, "I left my phone in my office by mistake."

"See brothers, she forgot her phone. We had no reason to worry." Marcus says.

"You worried?" I ask as I sit down on one of the elegant sofas in Aro's office.

"Immensely so. My brothers and I were growing frantic." Aro says.

"You need to remember to bring your phone with you at all times when you go outside the castle, carissima. We cannot lose you or lose contact with you." Caius sits down beside me and places his head against my neck.

"I'll remember next time." I promise.

"Good."

"Dear," Aro says from the other sofa. "Tell us more about the dress."

I giggle and shake my head. "I'm not telling you a thing. You'll just have to find out."

Aro smirks. Oh no...

"Hmm." he drawls. "I could find out later or..." before I could flee, Aro speeds over to me and grabs my hand, immediately taking in my memory. I watch as he takes in the memory of the dress being described and sketched. His eyes darken in lust and his smirk grows. "I could find out now." he ends his sentence as he releases my hand.

"Hey, that wasn't fair!" I pout.

Aro only shakes his head and his smirk grows even larger if possible. "Don't try to hide things from a mind reader, mia cara. I will always find out."

"What did you see, brother?" Caius asks. He was perked up on the sofa, eagerly wanting Aro to describe.

Aro chuckles. "You'll just have to find out, brother. I never said that we would find out now, only I. Toodles."
