ㅤ𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊,Maria and Paul were able to spend a few more days in New York, blissfully unaware of any vampire drama in Forks. But of course, with Jessica being Maria's best friend, she was still kept up to date with random, non-supernatural high school drama, starting with the latest scandal.
"I know that you chose to spend your spring break in New York to get away from any drama, however," Jessica began, pacing around in her room as she recalled the latest rumors spreading around in school. Maria, on the other hand, had her phone pressed to her ear while walking down the street, her other hand clasped with Paul's. "Do you remember Nick? Basketball team's point guard?"
"Yeah, what about him?"
"Well, let's start with the fact that he broke up with Chelsea, you know, our middle blocker?"
"And then?"
"We found out why just last night!" Jessica scoffed, plopping down to her bed while grabbing her TV remote, getting ready to marathon Gossip Girl. "Apparently he was caught making out with Brandon in the locker rooms!"
