"Mia?" Bella asked, her face scrunched in confusion. "Are you okay? Well, I love your new look but..."
"Yeah, I need to talk to your whole family," Maria rushed out, her voice still shaky.
"What? Why?" Edward muttered. "What happened?" Until now, reading Maria's mind was still difficult, but this time, flashes of the red-eyed man kept popping up. "Oh. Come in, Carlisle would want to know what happened."
"Okay, great, thanks," Maria walked past the two, not before giving them nods of appreciation. All the vampires were standing around the living room. She met eyes with Jasper almost immediately, the vampire she was closest to, and sputtered, "I-I got attacked by a vampire, red eyes and all, earlier...i-in Seattle. He..."
The effect of her words were immediate, all vampires exchanged looks, and Rosalie was quick to make her way towards the clearly shaken up girl. "Hey, you're okay, Mia."
