Y/N POV:

I hate my life..... Why is that happening to me? I've been sitting next to this pillar for an hour and I couldn't get one wink of sleep.

I don't understand. I knew I had a bit of insomnia as a kid but I learned how to fix that along with my talent. But for some reason, it's not working....

I swear, if this is because of that stupid motive they put on me, I'm going to shit myself. I've been trying to just close my eyes and fall asleep by relaxing my body but I can't.

Someone's awake in the academy and holy shit are they happy. They're so energetic right now that I can't go to sleep. All their energy is just coming to me..... y'know what, fuck it.

I stood up from my sitting position and started walking my way towards my lab. I'm just going to accept the fact that I'm not going to be able to sleep with this person awake.

Might as well see who it is that's keeping me awake. Maybe if I find out who it is, I can knock them out or something.

I walked through my lab as I felt their energy flowing through me. I felt it increase bit by bit as I got closer.

Once I got below the room, I took out my Cheat Sheet Perk and looked at the map. Looks like I'm under the... Computer room? Who the hell is in the computer room?

I put away my perk and peeked through the underground bunker door. Once I peeked through it, I could immediately hear humming from the outside.

Humming.... They're really happy. But why are they awake this late? I opened the bunker and crawled out without them noticing to see a blonde haired girl with blue irises.

Miu? What is she doing this late? I looked at the girl. It looks like she didn't even notice that I came in here.

She's wearing her goggles. She must be really focused on whether she's doing to that huge cube. The Computer room, the room that gave me this stupid motive... What is this room supposed to be for anyways?

Just as I was walking around the room, I heard a shriek behind me. "Huh?... Eeeeek! It's a demon!!"

I look back to see Miu with her goggles on top of her head, pointing directly at me. Demon?.... Oh wait she means me. Duh. God I'm tired.

"O-Oh wait hold on... you're that ghost statue thing! Stay away from me and my hot body!", the girl exclaimed as she violently threw a wrench at me.

A ghost statue thing? So she still thinks I'm a ghost statue— Oh shit! Depending on my quick reflexes, I quickly caught the wrench in front of my face before it could hit me.

Woah.... well that woke me up... I looked back at the girl as she slowly started to shrivel up. "W-Wait..... I... kind of n-need that....", she quietly mumbled as I sighed, walked over to her, and gave her her wrench.

Usually, I wouldn't give into her that easily but right now, I really don't care for fighting. I'll just give here what she wants. After handing her the wrench, Miu slowly gazed at me and squealed in fear.

Surprisingly, from then on I decided to spend the night with Miu. She was in constant fear of me but her energy was just too much to ignore.

Plus, it's not like I can turn off my talent. I thought I would have to hear her squealing for the rest of the night every time I moved but somewhere along the lines, I started helping her by giving tools to her and holding her flashlight.
