It's time for the annual CFD Galla! Harper is getting ready. Benny is going to be watching the kids for the night. Kelly is just back from taking them and is waiting on Harper.
"Hurry up!" Kelly shouts
"Hold on!" Harper calls out
"The Baby weight doesn't disappear does it?" Harper says as she walks out
"You look amazing! Now come on Dawson and Casey are waiting outside!" Kelly says walking towards the door
They arrive at the Galla and make the rounds.
"Harper! Kelly!" Chief riddle says
"Chief!" Kelly says
"I heard you had the twins! Congratulations! What did you have?" Chief riddle asks
"We had a little boy and a little girl called Hunter and Maria!" Harper says smiling
"Aww that's great!" Chief riddle says as he walks away
Harper and Kelly make their way to the 51 table but no one is there. Kelly says he has to go do something so Harper is sitting there alone. The ceremony starts and Harper notices the whole of 51 on the stage
"Huh?" Harper says to herself
"Hello everybody! As some of you know I'm Wallace Boden the chief at firehouse 51!" Boden says as everyone cheers
"At our firehouse we have 2 fantastic captains! Captain Matthew Casey and Captain Kelly Severide! A spot has just opened up for a engine 51 Luitenent and Matthew Casey has kindly filled that role which leaves a spot open on truck 81" Boden says before stepping aside
"I thought a lot about who I should give the job to and only one person came to mind and that is Harper Severide!" Casey says smiling before stepping aside
"Harper has been through so much during her time at 51 from almost loosing her husband to almost dying after childbirth!" Herrmann says
"But yet she never lets any of that effect her work in firehouse 51" Dawson says
"She always comes in with a smile on her face" Cruz says
"And will laugh and joke with us!" Capp says
"So we're here for 2 things tonight! And I'm glad to announce for the very first time Captain Harper Severide!" Kelly says as everyone claps and Harper makes her way up
"I don't know what to say! Umm well thank you! I couldn't have got to where I am today with out the help of 51! There such a loving and friendly house! And they have always been there for me! I'm honoured to become a Captain and lead truck 81!" Harper says as everyone cheers
They all walk off stage and sit down
"Thank you guys!" Harper says as she sits down
"You deserve it Harper!" Casey says
